I am running a 250 HPS in a 3'x1.5'X6' homemade setup right now and heat is not a huge issue. I do have a 4" inlet fan and an exhaust blower but that is mostly for keeping humidity down due to running an aeroponic system that I felt might drive the humidity way up. Light is a little bit older so I imagine newer light may even generate less heat but not sure. As long as any windows on the shed are covered up I can't imagine you would draw a ton of attention relative to a heat footprint with such a small light. Probably going to have to set up some kind of reflective surfaces around plant to get max amount of light, don't want to waste it. I have the whole setup completely wrapped in mylar and the plants are growing like crazy, they love the light. Hope this helps and good luck.

You should be in good shape then. Just put something over the hole to keep vermin out. Some of the grows I have seen in here that allegedly used a 250 HPS were quite impressive considering. 600 is supposedly the most efficient but I already had a 250 so that is what I used. Maybe upgrade to a 600 at some point but I think heat would definitely need to be addressed more aggresively if I do so.
