250w vs 400 watt heat output

so i am wondering if a 400 w system would put out a good amount more of heat then my 250w system or not much at all thanks oh my cab runs at about 86 degrees with the 250w

never used 250w but 400w ain't that hot... especialy with some fans well placed under the lamp

I have found the operating surface temperature in degrees Fahrenheit of an HID bulb to be approximately (1/2)* Output in Watts

250 W ~ 125 F

400 W ~ 200 F
