Put a 120mm pc fan on the opposite wall as the cfl. Use it as additional airflow and if you drill larger holes round the cfl mount it will also take that heat buildup from the cfl and push it out those holes. So you get more air movement and better light/improved spectrum!

120mm pc fans look huge but push way more air and run waaaaay quieter due to size. Those 80-90mm or smaller cpu type fans are like whiny, noisey squeeling hellions. I hate em. Go with a panaflo 120mm. Google em. Large and in charge. Get a 120mm intake filter for that fan and your in business. Now just cut the holes and mount the intake filter, fan ,and then the cfl bulb on opposite side and your good!

Well, a combination of not training more aggressively, a small watt bulb, and the stretchin' genetics of my plants has left me with a couple of five-foot monsters. That's not good when you're trying to grow under a 3' high ceiling. So, had to make an emergency pre-built cab search a few weeks ago. Home Depot had a wardrobe for around one bill. Not deep enough, though. Lowes had one from Black and Decker I believe for around two bills. Would have been perfect - looked sturdy and would have been super easy to light proof. But the store was out of stock. So, I had to take a trip to the 6th level of hell, or as our Swedish friends call it, Ikea. Found one with good dimensions and moved the ladies over. Good thing, because them bitches won't stop growing.

Excited as hell, though. First female plants in three tries. Got a bigger veg, flower area, which as you all know means I'm going to have to get more wattage next grow. Excited about that, too. And with the bigger space I'm going to be able to go up to three or four plants each run. Next go around going to pop 4 of some of my reg seeds. Of the regular seeds I have, I got 3 packs of Alphakronik, a couple of Connoisseur Genes, some Mandala, the Jack Herers, and double-dipped on Attitude's birthday promo so I got four of the Darkstars (fattest fucking seeds I've ever seen). Bet ya 4 to 1 that at least one seed will be female. Will fill my free time with this grow trying to decide which strain to pop next. That's the other thing...I got a metric shit ton of seeds. Pretty excited about that.

So, I'm going dark now RIU. I got a lot of stuff going on for at least the next year. Something's gotta give. Besides, I need grow experience. Maybe when I get a few grows under my belt and some more free time I'll drop back in and spread the knowledge all you people give so freely...and be able to add something worthwhile to the conversation. Thanks people. If not for you guys, I'd still be buying lids from the one-arm, one-eyed hooker down at the local icehouse.
