alright lads , im currently running a cfl setup but ive got a 250w and a 600w hps setup aswell currently not being used. was wondering if i use the 250w for flowering, how much would it cost in electricity per week to run it for 12/12???

That depends on how much you pay per kwh. you find that out then you'll be able to tell how much is adds on.

It only adds 30-40 bucks with my 400 hps, fans and 112 watts cfl veg lights.

shoot its cheap for electricity here by me, mostly because we have a hydroelectric plant in town. I only pay $5 extra per month for my 250. So yeah it all depends on how much your rate is. It will be pretty cheap to run though.

depends how much space you have, 600HPS gets you most lumens for your buck, the effective range of the 600 is between about 8 and 29 inches from the bulb, so you have a band of about 21 inches within which your plant is getting effective light, the size of plant should be governed by this.
with a 250HPS cost $ per lumen is higher, and the lamp is only effective within the range of 5 to 16 inches, so you have a band of 11 inches effective light, so plants should be small to suit this. i would go for the 600HPS.

Sounds good. Just find out how much you pay per kwh if you want to know exactly how much you are paying extra for the 250 hps.
