250w hps or 400w hps?

Yeah, I understand but at the same time this site can't do much to enforce bans even if they IP Ban so in a way it's a similar situation as the prohibition of marijuana.

People will still do it regardless.

Yeah, fair enough...the rules do state you have to be 18, for liability reasons. The guy slipped up by admitting it. I understand antagonizing the shit out of each other has blown it up to something it shouldn't have become in the first. I don't know about you, but I was doing far more heinous shit at 14 let alone 17. No reason to jump on his case is all I'm saying. Because NONE of us are breaking any "rules" w/ our activities.

wasnt necesarily jumpin on his shit just pointing out it was a idiot move..and i break no rules of the world just those of mankind..as do u i suppose?

so many people waste hydro by using to many lights, using mylar great improves a grow (+ so many other factors), so share more info and you will get better answers!

I just use the white walls in my closet, works amazing. The walls reflect so much light looking at it is like looking at the sky. Bunch of little black things and stuff.

Are two 250 watts better than 1 400? Answer no. I have not read the whole setup. I dont need to. I will postulate all situations. lol.

If you need to spread out then you might think two lights are better. However, penetration is the real issue. With a 400 I notice that the buds are bigger farther down the plant than with a 250. Well for me it was a 600 meant bigger buds farther down than a 400.

So get a 400.

Really you should just get a 1000 watter and be done with it. I went for 600 and now I am thinking a 1000 watter would be much more fun for my small med setup.

also u should look into the quantum dimmable ballasts.. run it at 500 750 or 1000

dude get the 400 for sure. you wont regret it. if your plants are getting too tall, you can always tie them down, grow scrog or just get a smaller indica dominant strain next time. good luck

1000 watt dimmable ballast by quantum which again can b run at 500 750 or 1000 for 350 bucks.. spend the money now so it dont cost u more when it comes time to upgrade again

Do you get a mh veg bulb with that or a dual ballast?

For an extra $20, I'd go for the 400w. If you're thinking about the 600w, might as well go 1000w
