they arn't really a comparison for each other because one can grow 3-4 plants and the other can grow around 16 plants
also the price difference is pretty big $220 for a 250w and around a $1000 for a 300w LED. hope this helps in decision making. i would definitely go for a 400w and then when you get the funds stick a couple 250w on each side and you'll be golden for 10-12 decent plants. happy growing!

Thanks yea I'm leaning towards 400w with cooltube...how is the 300w LED equivalent to a 1000W hps with it's little lumen output?

exactly so how is a 300w LED equivalent to a 1000w HPS....i don't see it being in competition with even a 400w HPS...but I'm looking at a 400w Ceramic Metal Halide...which seems to B better than both...such a big decision...just want to make the right one
