It will be alright to veg with but I would def suggest that you get a 250 watt MH and a 250 watt HPS for veg and flower respectively. They use the same wattage but you get much more lumen per watt than a CFL. They will also put out the same amount of heat

Dude you can't be serious. Do you know anything about electricity? Wattage is the amount of power something uses. You are charged by the kilowatt hour which means you are charged a certain amount of money for every hour that you are using 1000 watts. A 250 watt CFL uses the same amount of power as a 250 watt hps or mh, it is all about the wattage I'm not trying to be an asshole but you should really research some more before buying a light dude. You are going to need some exhaust fans for those lights though
I would get a 4 inch inline fan for each light

When you finally break down and get a hid light, be it a mh or hps, you'll wonder how you ever did without. One of the best investments ever. All the ferts, supplements, mediums, etc. can count for nothing without a good flowering light. Cfls do have their place though. They rock for seedlings and pre-veg. Saw Tom had you covered, just thought I'd pitch in my opinion.
