Absolutely not. I love the Blue Kush and Dinafem. I'm thinking of doing her cousin Blue Hash next time when I get the chance. But once I've done outdoors I fail to see any excitement from doing indoor grows... so don't get me wrong I'm just spoiled lol
im doing the blue hash now from seed and clones. Dinafem has always been good to me. I have done the cheese also

Same here. Absolutely love Dinafem and the vigour of their strains. Blue Hash is what I've always wanted to grow but I turn to the other three strains I currently grow: Dutch Passion Brainstorm, Dinafem Powe Kush (S1 apparently?) and Medical Seeds Mendocino Purple Kush. Stick around they are going into flowering in a couple of weeks

I will. I have 2 blue hash at day 35 flower. I lightly pollinated them early on with a afghani male.(trying to create a stronger cut and blue hash is already strong). another blue hash at 28 days, a delahaze at 28 days.1 dalahaze clone at day 7 flower, 4 blue hash clones still waiting for flower and 6 pure kush that I just started. I have those in mother tent also. hopefully in the future I can cross my afghani x blue hash with the pure kush.

Everything sounds so tasty. Do you have a journal I can follow up on? or pics of the Blue Hash you can post

Look good so far, mang. Is there any reason you prefer untopped plants?

Btw I put em outside again today and I've noticed on the Purple Bud the remaining white pistils have turned brown-red overnight since yesterday. Only a few left. So I'm cutting them both TOMORROW. Woohooo... also I checked the trichomes and I'm seeing all milky... it's hard to photograph without pinning the bud down but man, oh man, what a sight! I also noticed a little bit of mold forming... not so woohoo. Also it's a shame for the nutes I just mixed for them :P

Actually there is 1 topped sativa in there. But to answer your question. I usually don't top when I do short veg. If I do 4 to 8 WK veg I do top. I'm just trying to see yield difference in small pots. I know what I can get with big pots every two months. Now I'm curious of yield every month in small pots. Just a test run using a few things I have done in the past. See now in the last couple days. One delahaze(mostly sativa) and one blue hash have nute problems. I flushed them last night. Hopefully I can straightened the problem out. The only thing different I can come up with is I vegged those two for 3 wks and should have used a bigger pot. But I am trying to compare those two to the ones I didn't veg and see actual yield difference in same size pot.

So I chopped the big ones. Purple bud has turned purple btw... I think it can go full purple if you let it go for more than 9 weeks. I topped the two Power Kushes, Brainstorm has a little bit of nute burn but it'll pull through. Oh and the little ones are and will be under 150 watt MH bulb for about a week

I have to rectify... it seems that on the little ones it is not nute burn but rather Phosphorus deficiency. They're heavy feeders or I got my schedule all mixed up!
Power Kushes have been topped and brainstorm and purple kush have been fimmed

Wow theyve shot up them Grape! Looking good! Ive got a similar problem on the leaves of my seedling, little brownish patches. I'll look into it and see what I can do to help her.

it was a bit of a pain figuring it out what it was until the later stages and until it affected the rest of the plants. Necrosis and brown spots usually mean phosphorus deficiency.... but if you ask me that's impossible to get on a young seedlings. Speaking of seedlings today I scored a pretty good and stable job over here so I don't think I'll be moving any time soon... means I can pop a few more seeds and flower them in 2 months

Yeah i'm not sure what it is, I'm not worried, I'll sort it. Congratulations on the job and further congratulations on being able to carry on with your passion! And best of luck with all future grows!

Advantages: -more area covered = more plants in the same space = more bud
-less heat because warm air rises and it doesn't get trapped in a reflector
Disadvantages: -depending on how your tent works and how big it is it can be a pain to water and train your plants (but I imagine without topping you won't need to train much just to tie your main stem to a stake or something)
-you will need special glasses to work in there otherwise you're gonna be facing massive headaches, especially with a metal halide

I've done this before but with my little space the disadvantages outweigh the advantages but I am surely planning on doing something like that with a bunch of untopped indicas :blsmoke:

The yield is nothing to write home about... the two plants together yielded less than one under a 150 watt hps. But considering all the shit I've put em through it's a damn miracle to even get a harvest. Gonna smoke it soon but most of it will be made into butter.
On the other hand the little ones look about ready for the switch to 12/12 in a few days. I'm gonna do a little experiment: 12/12 for the first two weeks then gradually cut off 15 minutes every week. It'll be around 9 1/2-10 hours of "sunshine" by the end of flowering.
Considering the deficiencies I supercharged the nutes and they are damn happy about it. Who would have thought that all this time I've been underfeeding my plants... shame... anyway gotta give that Lucas formula a try one day, but I've been eyeing this one part nute product that's about the same price as GH 3 part. IDK just seems a lot easier to mix and what not
