ill look into it. how do i go about making one?
Do you mean the DIY grow tent? Haven't you ever worked with PVC and or built anything before? It would be simpler than falling off a log.
Measure the maximum amount of space you will dedicate to the tent. Make a drawing of the frame needed that includes all bottom cross pieces for support of a piece of wood or plastic for the bottom and all upper/top cross pieces that would be needed to hang lights and a fan and maybe a carbon scrubber.
Count the corners, top and bottom and purchase one of these for each:
For your 'wall studs' where there would be cross pieces to support the bottom material or to hang lights and fans from count up as many as you will need and purchase these:
For any place where you will have a cross piece but not a 'wall stud,' count them up and purchase these: (or you could just use more of the type above without adding an upright 'wall stud.'
Then measure up how much straight PVC you would need to assemble it and purchase it ... of course making sure everything is in the same size, like 3/4 inch or whatever and cut to fit according to your drawn up plans.
You purchase the PVC glue that follow the instruction on the container and it virtually welds the PVC together.
Purchase the thicker mm poly panda and cover the outside, overlapping it at 'wall studs' and use sheet metal screws with washers to attach it to the PVC. Do the same on the inside.
For the door you attach the poly panda the same way up one side, inside and out, and then use velcro strips for the bottom, top and opposite side of where you have it screwed down with one part of the velcro stuck/stapled to the panda poly and the other part stuck/screwed to the frame. (The door opening has to be smaller than the width of the front so the panda poly can overlap to the next 'wall stud' or corner so there isn't a light leak.)
If you want to section it off into two levels you just add more fittings like these at whatever 'wall stud' and corner and door frame level as needed:
But you only use three of the connections and point one, the unused one, so it will be between the layers of poly and add more straight pieces connecting them and then separate / seal the two sections with poly and add another piece of wood or plastic over it for the bottom/floor of the upper section just as you would for the bottom/floor of the lower section or bottom/floor if you did not section it off.
It might seem like a lot of work but it is simple and it goes fast. You just need to draw it out first and figure out how many different fittings of each type you need, how much straight PVC you need, how many sq. feet of surface you will need to cover in poly (so you purchase enough), get some screws and half decent sized washers. Use light hangers inside or use a little pulley setup to hang your light(s) with some rope so you can raise and lower them easily and buy a small plastic zig-zag cleat to attach the rope to, to hold your light(s) at the level you want.
