250 hps setup....

OK i tried a small box grow with cfls and now i wanna try flowering with a 250 watt hps this time.My area is 3'l x 2'w x 4'h and i think a 250 watt we do..I just wanna know some opinions on the 250 and some pics of anyone using this bulb in a small area....thxs

You just gotta make sure you have proper air movement to keep temps down if it gets to hot. You may be able to fit in a 400 in there too...you prolly pay around the same amount for a 250w depending where you get it.

whats up canuk..i like the new version of canadian flag..i grow under 250hps, u can see it in action on the pic below, hehe..as u can see i grow 2 plants, they just hit 4th week of flowering..i hope one bulb gonna last the whole grow..i grow in a open room so no probs with temps..imo 250 is great for two plants..if i was growing more i would have rather purchased 400w:twisted:

i used to have 2 250w hps and they did quite a few plants and a good yield in an attic grow in minimal conditions with no extraction nothing fancy just pots,soil,light,fan,water,miricle grow lol and the 1st ever 1 we did was the bigesst and best yielding upto date lol.

many people say their first grow was the best coz they kept it simple..once u think u more experienced and try new tricks..well its just easier then to fuck things up i suppose..its a weed after all:twisted:

Yeah i got a fan to suck heat out of the top so i can control the temp.I found a new 250 hps with hood and all for $110 new ,so im gona get it...can't wait
