Hey guys first posted grow on RIU for me right here!
I just recently started growing again, and im really excited.
I have a couple questions id like to get sorted out right from the get go, any insight is appreciated.
little background info here: a friend of mine was selling his super lemon haze plants (about 3-5 inches tall when i recieved them) with feminized seeds bought from attitude. Looks like a great strain, really stoked to see how it turns out. They hadnt been under lights for a few days prior to me getting them, then i transplanted them after they had been carried around in a box for a while. Rough couple days for them but ive got them under the lights now, and theyre starting to look better. Couple yellow leaves you will see in a few pics. Anyways im growing in a closet with a 400 watt high pressure sodium digital ballast and bulb. Ventilation is somewhat of an issue. Ive taken a mylar like material and sort of made a room inside the closet where the plants are, but it takes up the whole closet pretty much, and its not a very big space. thats where heat comes issue because ive looked at it after having the closet door closed for a while and temps have gotten to 103F. not good. within 10 minutes of me opening the closet it shoots down to 75-80. humiditys around 30%, not sure what it should be at really. I have an intake/exhaust system in the setup, but with the door closet its not that effective. Check the pics:
this is from outside the closet looking at the setup with the door open. top whole for exhaust, bottem for intake. they are just oscalating fans and i usually run the exhaust at 2 and intake at 1, higher if temps go up. you can see though how it might get hot with the door closed.
The bulb and ballast i am using as well as some seeds i was sprouting when the SLH came in.

Anyways if you have any ideas on better ventialtion with the door closed that would be much appreciated. Any other comments suggestions and so on are also very much appreciated!
