Those numbers don't add up.When looking for a driver, what is it I am looking for exactly? ovs the voltage. But how to know what amperage and wattage?
Looking for a driver for a strip rated;
24VDC
600mA - 900 mA
18-24 watts
Just loooking for something on the cheap to run 1 board.
Thanks guys
Op, this driver is not appropriate for your purpose and i think the poster is spamming/advertising.My driver on my light is 48v Meanwell, that's on the ts3000 lamp , a good quality driver that makes led work more efficient and last longer lifespan . View attachment 4416727
The driver mentioned should work if the info from the retailer is correct. However theres no dimming possibble, and sometimes the info on the board is not 100% accurate.Those numbers don't add up.
Volts x Amps = Watts
24 volts X 0.9 amps = 21.6 watts
Just wanted to bring that to your attention.
This might work: https://www.meanwell-web.com/en-gb/led-drivers/constant-voltage-c-v/all-power-format/24/all-output-current-a/20/ac-dc-single-output-led-driver-constant-voltage-cv-lpv--20--24?returnurl=/en-gb/led-drivers/constant-voltage-c-v/all-power-format/24/all-output-current-a/20/#lpv-20-24
I would wait for input from @coreywebster though
yes, but only to 700mA. Renfros linkedd driver takes it to 840mA.A Mean Well APC-25-700 will light one of those emerson effect strips.
Renfro's choice is cheaper too.yes, but only to 700mA. Renfros linkedd driver takes it to 840mA.
Right? Why would I need a 240w driver for a ~20w strip. Clearly didn't read shit.Op, this driver is not appropriate for your purpose and i think the poster is spamming/advertising.
I clearly didn't either, I thought you were asking for a driver to run lights with that spec, I obviously deleted the post before anyone could quote me hahahaRight? Why would I need a 240w driver for a ~20w strip. Clearly didn't read shit.
