Well a lot of people appreciate he's very active lately. No need to say "waste energy here". Cant believe you'd go to that "we" level of talk. Its ok to disagree with one another, it really is. Fuck this thread aint about disagreeing, 24 hours yes or no. No big deal, no wasted energy, just a practice some do. Some don't great buds!!!!
nice to be appreciated, but hate that my time here lately has been from missin work and takin it easy after a heart attack

and I posted just yesterday that there is beauty in the notion that we can do what ever we want in our gardens

In the end doin what works for you is golden and I have always said try things for yourself, and see what works best for you

My intent when posting in these threads is merely to point out to "new growers" trying to learn that not all things are etched in stone, there are different paths to follow, different experiments to try and different things to learn 8)

What kind of work do you do? Besides gardening.

I'm an electronics tech, with 44 years experience, going back to when TV's had tubes. I have for the past 16 years specialized in restoring antique electronics ie: component level motherboard repair in DOS computers used in arcade video games
I'm doing up a Sansui au217 at the moment.. I got one channel working good with a couple of new diodes. The left channel needs a resistor but that's not a problem. The problem is finding the correct modern subs or antique parts. I scored a couple old VCR's...I'm hoping somewhere I'll find these things. I've been carefully photographing everything as I go and removing dirt and corrosion. I suspect after almost 40 years the old girls got a weak cap or two. Even though the old girl is from the 1970's she's loaded with all 105 degree caps. This thing was built like it was going to be launched into space :) I've been mezmormized for about three days now. I've got the working channel hooked into an 800 watt column. It blew me away when it popped the 100volt 22uf cap right off the crossover for the midrange. I really didn't "think"it could do that.

Yes, it has been scientifically proven that you are a dick hole.
Of course if we asked Mr. Stool any technical info like what do they mean by TO-3 or What the hell is a base, emitter or collector...he'd know :) WTF cathode now...where's Batman :)

I'm the total opposite of a dick hole.

It is a scientific fact that you'll require a minimum knowledge of electronics and other things if you have a desire to go further than a bit of dirt in a bucket.

Unless you are using UV-B lights during the dark period I don't see how an extra 24 hrs of darkness vs an 8-9 week flower cycle would do anything except make one think it was a good idea.

Inside the Trichome
Cannabinoids present in the cannabis plant include THC, CBD, cannabinol (CBN), cannabichromene (CBC), cannabigerol (CBG), and tetrahydrocannabivarin (THCV).

THC and other cannabinoids are produced in only one place on the cannabis plant: inside the heads of the trichomes. How it happens: Organelles produced by the plant called Vacuoles – which contain phenols, a chemical compound similar to alcohol [pictured at right in blue], and another type of organelle called plastids – containing hydrocarbons called terpenes [red], make their way up the trichome stalk [green] and combine inside the secretory cavity into a fibrous mat [yellow]. This concentrated mat is hit by UV-B light waves, causing the creation of cannabinoids.

Those that can, do. In fact, I've got some lovely ladies just finishing week eight.
I'd post pics, but you aren't interested in reality.

I love you too Church 8)

anybody can google what happens to plants (any/all plants) when the root zone is deprived of O2, it's in all the botany books so not hard to find the answer 8)

watering with boiling water instantly deprives the root zone of O2

a third grader could do the math
Yep, kick start the fermentation process....
