24 hrs of darkness question

hey everyone.. hope everyone is having a lovely Sunday night. I got to thinking a few minutes ago.. and I'm not sure if thats a good thing of bad.. j/k.

I started to look at my 'Ceres Skunk' plant.. and well she will start her first day of week #4 in her flowering cycle... she's got beautiful flowers developing right now. But she only takes 40-45 days to fully flower... so she's only got two weeks (maybe 2.5 weeks) before I she'll be ready to harvest.. and I got to wondering if I should try that "24 hrs of darkness before harvest" method.

Anyone else do this? or know what im talking about?

If so.. what exactly is it that I am suppose to do with her 24 hours before harvest time?

bump im in the same boat

I've heard that by doing this the plant think the seasons over and its gonna start freezing. So it shoots everything it has into the flowers. Ive HEARD that, never tried it.
