I have 6 larger plants and 2 smaller ones all under one 1000 watt HPS. Using Fox farm tiger bloom. I've been taking off some of the fan leaves to allow more light to penetrate through. The pots are completely full of roots. What do you guys think? Any comments or tips are appreciated.

Forgot to mention, 6 larger ones are mango and the other two are unknown.

Do you have or do you plan on using the rest of the fox farm line?

if so I would suggest starting them and stoping tiger you look to be in the late open seaseme stage or starting beasty bloom. You should not be using tiger past the first quarter of your flowering imo.

Your plants look very healthy. Keep N in the plant's diet.

I'm not a big fan of pulling leaves. Yanking leaves to give light to other leaves is counter-productive. Feel free to click on any of my signature links to see how it goes with all the leaves intact.

Thanks lilroach. I get what your saying. Some of the leaves are turning yellow and the plant is letting them go. Some of the big fan leaves are covering the lower buds too. Thought maybe it would help. Those are some large colas in your grows, haha. Very pretty.

That is 5 days from seed? It looks great! :)

Question:
Do you guys typically trim off fan leaves if your plants are really bushy? Or cut off lower branches that wont get much light because the canopy is so thick? I thought this helped the buds grow bigger or something.

Hey lildon1, I think there is a foxfarm feeding chart out there. btw I think these charts are more like guidelines not rules on dosages.

i thinned mine out halfway through veg and used the leaves for some nice cannabutter :D, alot of my lower stems were cut for clones as they were getting sweet FA light.

Well they're about 55 days into flower now, didnt want to start a whole new thread. I saw one amber trichrome today, but alot of them still look clear. Was planning on harvesting soon, just not sure. will post pics.

They got pretty heavy. I tried to take pics through my little microscrope, but it was really difficult haha so I can't post trichrome pics. In 2 days they will be 8 weeks into flower.

looking very nice. i trim up to the first couple weeks of flower. if i can't tuck it, i pluck it. some do, some don't, and some others get angry if you do, lol. you should consider using a pk booster at week 5 of flower...
