24-8-16 Miracle Grow Fertlizer??

I made my own mix of stuff from walmart. Five small bags of potting soil (youd know if you saw), then they have bags that are larger of which I used one each: Sphagnam Peat and Pearlite.

I also threw in about five big handfuls of sand because I heard that it was good for drainage.

Mix in what ever manner works best for you. I had to use a contractor garbage bag, living in an apt and all. No mess at all.

I use very small amounts of epsom salts (magnesium sulfate), about three or four pinches, every water.

I do not water until soil is really dry usually two days after poking holes in the soil with a pencil. The ends up being about once every 5-7 days.

Every other water I either use Miracle gro 9-4-9 or 24-8-16, alternating between those.

When I first planted it on March 26 I never thought to check the ph of my water and got lucky the plant was thriving so about three weeks in I tested and it was about 8.4! Holy shit!

So now I add vinegar to the water every time to bring the ph down to about 5.8-6 because I know the pH in my soil was high from testing that.

Now the pH is good in the soil. All ferts are good, plant is about 10 days into flowering and I have finally confirmed it female.

Check it out!! I think that MG stuff works. Im studying every way to find the best method for curing properly to ensure that if it is harsh when smoked, its because of MG. Cannot wait!!!

miracle grow is fine it just doesn't flush good.alot of salts creates harsh smoke.
not exactly. If you are doing hydro, the last couple of days you can flush by simply lifting the top off the bucket and "hydro-transplanting" it into another hydro bucket with distilled/ro/ 0 ppm water for the last few days. I have it in there until the leaves start the yellow or 7 days or sometimes both depending on the circumstances.

for soil, all you gotta do is flush the plant by feeding it 0 ppm water making sure it drains. I like to do this 3 times a day on the first day and then once every day after that until the leaves start to yellow/7 days/etc etc.

Just letting you guys who use mg 24-8-16 how i do it.

you got me interested in trying something though, have some of the bud without a flush and have some with a flush. cure it for a month and see if i could tell the difference ( maybe have 5% or less of the bud without a flush).. Ill tell you guys how it turns out :p
