24 26w cfl on a single outlet

Ok, so i got 24 cfl's wich are 26 watts on one single outlet, its been like that for a whole month 24/0. does that represent any type of danger, am planing on instaling a timer to set the plants on 22/2. Will that make my plants hermaphroditic, make em flower, or make a fire in my room??? Any advice plz post, and other q where can i find anti detection foil??? i think it starts with poly... something

First you are using 624watts and getting about 37000 lumens of light.
If you use a 400w MH you will get the same lumens -1/3 the cost
If you get a 400w HPS you will get almost double the lumens at 1/3 the cost.
The best part is you can get a digital ballast that will use both MH(veg) and HPS(flower) for $144, while giving your plants more and cutting your cost by 33%

Save more money by going to 18/6, and its better for the plant anyway, it will reduce stress

lol 24 cfls u are crazy buy a hps and a mh bulb and get a ballast you'll get better bud and less cost and less of a pain in the ass because you dont have to fuck around with 24 lights

Damn that's alot of bulbs, I used about 10 and I thought that was alot. How many plants do you have?

ok thanks for the post guys. Yeah i do have a lot of bulbs and i thougt of the hps and metal halide, they get too hot, and the cops swarm my area, and a lot of ppl are getting busted with infrared detectors. I am trying to keep the room as cool as posible plus i dont want the cops gettin a white spot where is supposed to be red. I dont have many shops that would sell that kind of lights too, and i want to get a whole room full. Right now i got 16 mother plants unknown 2f,2 rock bottom 6in,2 sour deisel6in, 3 northern lights 1f, 6 clones from three different mother plants, and like 15 more unknown mother plants in process, its kind of like a mess, its my first grow but i got everythig covered i hope to get pictures as soon as tonight. The lights are pretty well organized. Any advice where i can get the foil???

why dont u buy higher watt cfl's and have less of them. 24 bulbs will be stressful!

ok so i buy 35w cfl its kind like 150w, not the same deal, plus i got a little trouble fixing the lamp with 8 cfl 26w, if i get 6 32w and fix to the multiplug it would work, you know i thought about it, but they are 9$ ea its 54$ to get the lights, with 8 cfls its only 26$ they come in pack of two's, still gotta get the splitters, and the multiplug.

150w cfl around 75$ to make a 10k lummen lamp
100w cfl around 45$ to make a 10k lummen lamp

its cheaper, i wana stay in the low profile, and i already got 3 lamps

totally your call gonzo, i only use 1 125w cfl and that is doing 2 plants fine. How many plants you growing?

And for $100 more you can have 4-6X (veg/flower) the light, with the same monthly cost. You taking shortcuts that cost more money and provide less results. You are trying to reinvent the wheel.

Just hope you don't burn your room down.
