Maybe the concept of a scrubber could be used here. A scrubber does not vent air outside, it simply scrubs the air through a carbon filter. I have seen it described as the usual filter and fan. Being that the fan is not connected to long runs of ducting, and is running air through the filter constantly - they say it can be a smaller size.

Always something to consider. Ona block has the front of the apt covered. Really hoping three carbon filters will do the trick. Have some sfc og in veg and already stinking up the place like skunk on the back side. Its closed up though. Have the fan/ona combo outside and a fan blowing towards the front
