Yea I always feel blasphemous when I remove healthy branches . But it goes with the territory, for you especially. With that apparatus maintaining uniformity is crucial. No veg time and pruning anything larger than a couple inches coming from the main stalk right from the get-go. So you're not worried if the plants are going to be too large or too small, take cuttings that are already the size you would want to start flowering.
