Anybody finding they have to feed much higher doses than in a larger pot? Caught me off guard. Usually I add 10% worm castings to my peat but didn’t this time. Didn’t know they provided that much nutrition.

So she started to have N def around 14 days old. Gone from 2-3.5ml of grow. Think 3.5ml is enough but max recommended is 4ml per L

Yet to show sex which is new to me with autoflowers but Dutch passion did say a 4-6 week veg time!

Got some lovely looking plants in here!

Good luck all :)

Hell yes, I just read it is 6 mo to enter, I would love to join for fun but if I win I don’t want anything, just for fun.

Can I join? Just plaster my way in following rules? I have everything needed and can actually put some crap laying around to use finally.

Was going to try the 1x1 challenge one day and now I am doing both possibly.

I just don’t know or must of glanced over how drying will work, adding a month before official weight can be posted.

If we can push the due date 30 days that would help late entries as well as exclude that from growing time. I only inquired 45 days late.

No? If I do this, I probably can’t unless we can use 2 weeks as dry time minimal or I can surely count on not out performing anyone lol. White hairs would be everywhere still, yuck.

So the chop date is techically 6/10, but if it is 7/10, I am popping a bean tonight.

Is it possible to to micro propagate a clone from a solo cup contest plant, but without losing a whole branches worth, and affecting the final harvest weight much? As in, taking the tiniest little shoot. Can you start with just a clump of plant cells, or does it have to be a micro sized cutting?

I've never messed with TCing because I didn't see a reason too. Seems like it would be the best way to clone a lone plant that your trying to compete with, and gives me a reason to try out new things such as..

What medium\recipe do tissue culture clones grow on anyway? Is it just a simple agar like mix, with extra additives? What do you wash the plant materials in to sterilize with? Can you use standard mycology tools/practices, inluding a flow hood to perform tissue culturing?

chop chop
let that seed drop
get your cup
fill it right up

and one more thing...
2nd verbal re: mentioning/questioning technicalities, is a disqualification.
rule 27, subsection b, under "other disqualification criteria", paragraph 5 clearly states that "any entrant, regardless of the color or growth of their cup, may be removed from competition if 'they' regurgitate rules, regs, etc."....and it rambles on about exagerating the size of ones cup and other non-related items.
other than that is pretty much no holds barred solo-cup-mania.
its up to you all to be prepared psychologically to lose, gracefully if at all possible.
thanks for playing! :bigjoint:

Ok I see this is more of a competetive grow journal and shits and giggles, one of which, will claim a prize.

It would be nice to have more than dry weight factored, like what if the lowest wattage of lights counted as points.

I will pop a bean tonight!

So I am guessing, around 7/10 yall will START looking for a winner and ask that everyone gets their dry weight in asap.

I can’t imagine everyones being done and dry at the same time which might count as cheating if you cannot prove when it was chopped.

edit: I see what you did there…. 7/10 hahaha dab up!!

What is more special, that we all chop and dab on 7/10 or just get too high to judge 100 posts and post pone it for 7/11 lol
