The MLK4 and WB1x are coming down the home stretch. I think somewhere between 1 and 2 weeks for the WB1x and 2 to 3 weeks for the MLK4. Precip on the forecast next week. Fingers crossed that it doesn't mess things up. I haven't seen any mold or rot on these.

And aren't Kush so easy to trim? I have a nice pre 98 and few others. Wish I could crowd like that here. PM is a prob.

Beautiful colas.
Thanks Michi!

I don't think it will be too bad on the trim. It's got high volume, medium density buds.

Thankfully, the season has been forgiving with the precip and humidity. It's been pretty good this year, other years are more of a struggle.

I chopped the little WB1x before the storms hit the other day. It wasn't very productive, but it had rock hard nugs with a floral/incense/gas aroma.

The last one still up is the MLK4. More storms are forecast for tomorrow. Hopefully they make it to chop this coming weekend. They are super sticky with an aroma like fruity/earthy/hash. I'm excited for the seeds that come off this one.

How do you manage bugs with those? I keep my outdoor plants small due to bugs personally.
I sprayed weekly with neem/azamax, bt, and spinosad up until the first week of flower. I lost a couple buds to budworms, but very minimal. When I harvested the VK, I did find one cola where spider mites were starting to show up, but it was minimal. I've had a lot of predator bugs...spiders, assassins, soldier beetles, black wasps, etc showing up on there too. It's definitely not pristine like indoor. I wash with h2o2 at harvest.

Colas were flopping all over and stems snapping, so I went ahead and started chopping off colas today. I'll leave the side buds to finish up for another week or two.

The MLK4 will keep a spot in my mothers. She has a peculiar hashy/fruity aroma, very sticky, and good production. She's an easy grower too. I'm excited to see what the pollen chucked on the MLK4 from the male (Z3 Zkittles x Wedding Cake x Blue MAC) from Sun Grown Genetics will make. The MLK4 was my favorite in the garden this year.

The VK was vigorous grower and really big, but the end result didn't seem too special. Its been curing for a week now. No smoke test yet. No clones were saved. I did get seeds from the chucking, but those might never get popped.

The WB1x has a really nice floral gas aroma with super dense rug nugs. Just put it into jars today, and I keep wanting to open and take another whiff. I think it will be good, but it doesnt outshine the WB1 mother in all areas. Got seeds from chucking, but they might never get popped.

Now that they've had a few months to cure...

The VK produced two five gallon buckets of trimmed buds. The aroma went from grape/lemon/lime in flower to a lemon pepper aroma after cure. All friends who've sampled agree that VK is the best of the three types finished outdoors. Clones I attempted to take late in flower would not root. I've gifted out a lot of the beans it produced, and I might pop a few myself to see if I find anything interesting.

The MLK4's produced five 5 gallon buckets of trimmed buds. The aroma stays the same after cure. It is as expected per the last few harvests of the same clones. This one is dependable, and since my parents like it, I will continue to keep clones.

The WB1x produced six or seven 32oz jars. It's decent. The floral component of the aroma died away after cure, and now it's just chemmy gas. Nugs are super dense like its mother WB1, but the WB1x is not quite as loud...like the Landrace Kush cross kind of took the edge off the gas. I prefer the more powerful gas aroma of the WB1.
