2014 XGS-190 LED 1.5x2.1Ft Closet scrogs.

Hey guys, this is my second grow and will be my grow journal from now on.

I am currently growing under a 90w led and couple 24w cfls until my Area 51 190w Led arrives in less than a week
which i will use to finish this grows flower off. (Going to be intense in such a small area)

Shes currently 3 weeks into 12/12 today and looking great to me. Its Mazar x White Rhino.
I grow in soil and 4.2gal pots and as you can see this is a scrog but am open to other ideas as my
grow room ain't that big.
Been using all organic nutes for this grow, but next grow will be using full Canadian Xpress range, two part 50/50 Organic/Synthetic mix nutes.
Also flipped a little early as she didn't quite fill out my screen totally (6week veg from seed)

I have these beans currently (All fem)

Green House super lemon haze.
Green House trainwreck.
White widow x Big Bud.
Barneys Pineapple Chunk.

Also have these coming..(All Fem).

G13 Labs Cinderella 99
Barneys L.S.D
Barneys Liberty Haze
Green House Jack Herer
FREE 1 x Royal Queen Power Flower, 2 x Kerala x Skunk #1 REGULAR SEEDS

So excited to pop the next seed for my grow, or maybe try squeeze two different strains into my space?

Hey mate,

Subscribed! I am looking at getting the A51 190 so cant wait to see how you get on! I'm not in a position to answer your questions as I am a complete noob with no grows under my belt.. yet :) Good luck man!

Thanks for subscribing.
I'm looking forward to getting the light, should be here mid week hopefully.
I'm only on my second grow but I've figured out not to love your lady's too much and read the plant etc so should be a good indication of what these lights can produce.

Will post new photos when the light arrives.

My first grow was organic and so is the current.
I got recommended this 50/50 nutrients as they're apparently pretty good, still get the organic taste and end up with good quality and yield.
We'll see on the next grow for sure ;-)
Still trying to decide which seed to pop next.

how is that new light now fairing on the plants now you've changed over ?...interested in those cree xte warm whites an how they are against red an blue set ups ??..

Subscribed- things look fantastic so far, my good man!

i too have a 190 and am finishing up the build of my grow room before I germinate a few seeds and get into it. I noticed you're rocking the scrog screen and I've been planning on going that route as well. it will be my first ever grow (!!!!!) but with my room size (4'x3'x4' tall) I figured with the 190's lighted area of (3'x3') I could grow 2 plants with scrog but I would just have to move them around a bit perhaps... Am I being stupid, would you think I should just grow a single plant instead and try for bigger yield?

anyways, I'm watching intently, seems you're doing a great job! I'll be happy to get any info from you at all, respect to you and your crop.

I myself would say just one massive plant, but depends if you use seeds or clones? Also only my second grow so yeah.

Edit: i seen you use seeds.
I'm only a newbee myself so i wouldn't take too much advice from me :D

Whats Up Brother goatlicker My Experience With Area-51 Leds Is That Their Suggested Light Height Recomendations Is Fairy Accurate So I Would Stick To The Recommended Light Heights For Now.In About 2 Weeks I Will Be Firing Up My 2 Xgs And I Will Get Some Umols Reading As Well As Light Heights.

Hey, thanks bud. I emailed them and asked because my space is smaller and he said try it at 24 inch in 190 or 18 inch on 130w mode.

mean that the scrog should stay 12" above the top of the plant, or 12" above the dirt... I just thought I picked a point at which I didn't want her to grow north/south anymore and put the screen there and thereby coax her to grow out.

And licker of goats, I apologize. This is your thread, not tryin' to steal it. Just running parallel with you and learning as you roll. Thanks.

No worries bud, ask all the questions you like, lets me learn also.
I would say he means 12 inch above the dirt or top of the pot.. i might be wrong but i think thats right.

Brother bu$hleaguer Brother goatlicker Is Correct 12 Inches Above The Top Of Your Growing Container.Just Remeber Brother That As A Rule Sativa's Will Double Their Size When Flipped To Flower.

Cool beans, Dawg, thanks. I didn't realize that it would double in size once I switched to 12/12... Good info. A dude at the local hydro shop said not to use nutes while it's in veg, just veg for 3-4 weeks and then go to flower and then after a week or so use some blooming nutes. He said just make sure my soil ph stayed at 6 and that's all I needed to worry about. He also said the local water didn't contain chlorine so it was fine to use.

anyway, my main man Goat what's the good word?
