The growth will slow for for roughly a week at the most. Once the plant starts growing again it will be fine. Be patient. Big and bushy. I always top my plants. Some plants love it while other plants take a couple days to bounce back. Let mother nature take over.

this is the top that i removed. i watched a video on youtube and some kid just pushes his tops off, so that's what i did instead of cutting it, ppl say that if you have a dirty blade, you have a good chance at introducing pathogens to the plant

They look fine like what was said earlier let mothernature do here thing and they will be beautiful.Let them dry out in between waterings and give them time to grow some before you start fertilizing.There is plenty of nutes in the dirt for the first few weeks to keep them happy.Good luck and by the way if that is you on your avatar you are beautiful no perv,just a compliment.

These are the other babies, the first one is the god's gift that is doing alright, i should really start misting them...

the second one is starting to recover, i transplanted it way too soon and i think i damaged some of the roots, its bouncing back though. the third one had one of the first round leaves fall off and it's still a seedling, amazingly it's starting to show some life.

the last one is the prize winner, both of the round leaves were eaten off but the seedling still somehow managed to sprout the first node! lol.

God's Gift is lovely. One of my favs. I have a few seedlings every now and then where one round leaf just dies off for no apparent reason. They grow up just fine though.

I would switch to a smaller pot to help build up a solid
root system faster and I would strip off the lower lighter green growth
to bring much more energy the rest of the plant that will result
in faster healthier growth over all. The lighter green leaves ain't doing anything for
your plant much if at all. Slowing down the plants good growth imo.

The smaller pots with the babies look to have too much bark in the soil?
This could lead to an unhealthy plant do to the medium being to acidic imo.

Does this sound right?
Anybody else want to chime in on this suggestion and observation?

Plants are amazingly resilient so I would not worry just yet. For future reference, as Milovan just wrote, I would let the plants get to the third node before transplanting to a larger bucket (see my current outdoor growing thread to see how I progress my transplanting).

Waiting for the plants to sex is one of the only pitfalls when using non feminized or bag seeds. Normally you can tell around the middle of July but since you started later, it might be August before you know for sure.

One other point- it might help to get a pH meter or pH soil testers (available at most garden shops and big-box home improvement stores) just to make sure your soil/mulch covering is not too acidic. It took me several grows before I bought one last year, may have been a reason why finally some of my plants prospered.

so where i topped off, you can see that two new shoots are coming up, wow! it's the first time that i have ever topped a plant and it worked! hopefully this plant will be a female, hopefully they all turn out to be females!

i put a counter tie at the bottom of the plant so that it won't up root anymore, my question to you guys now, is that roots are starting to develop towards the top of the soil, right where the main stem goes into the ground, is this okay? someone once told me that if the roots see sunlight it's bad?

can I go buy a clone and barely begin to grow outdoors or is to late? is it a good time of the month to start if its barely a few inches tall and still have time to flower and all that
