You are the first! You will need to tell us :) I flowered a big plant with 1 H350 magenta. So using 4 and 2 150 reds on a spinner should work great! What size space are you in? Any pics?

4x350=1400
2x150=300

1400+300=1700

That is almost like running 3 600 watt hps. It should be amazing :)

i dont know mine got here today, but i will be flowering in a cabinet 28 inchs deep, 58 inchs long, and 48 inchs tall. i will have a h350 magenta and a h350 deep blue only. i am thinking it should be fine.

No pics, as of yet. I'm currently in transit, a transplant to Denver. I'll be in a stable location in due time :cool:.

Specs.

4x4 tent
4x4 tray
4 H350 magenta
2 H150 red
20lb. c02
Temps and humidity of course will be in check
With full line of house and garden nutes

I know that overall quality will be great, yield is what I'm really questioning? I'd like to see this setup yield comparable too a 1000w hps. I'm just a bit skeptical :confused:

I think you should do two separate grows, hps versus Kessils, just for shits and giggles. I dont think the Kessils would be able to hang with 2 600s running, but the results from both should be awesome.

I am liking the two h150 purples I am using. If I am able to come across another 2 I am going to run a full grow with those alone to see how things go.

Anyhow, subbed to this thread and all. Will post some pics of what I've got going on sometime soon.

@ExperiencedLearner - That grow is going to kick some major ass! What strain are you using? What part of Denver are you in? I lived in Golden and Lakewood back in the late '70s. Smoked some killer dark green red hair bud that was as good as any Hawaiian buds I had smoked before.

I have a friend who is trying to relocate to CO from AZ. If you have any tips it would be appreciated :)

The LA Con clones already have roots!

@Mohican I haven't decided on strain yet, kinda up in the air. Typically, I would do a sativa dominant , just personal smoking preference. However, with light penetration concerns I want something shorter. Not an expert on scrog, but it's a strong possibility. Any suggestion?

I'm not settled in yet, but I'm thinking in the city. Property is scarce here, it's a rush, but I have advantages8-) I'll let you know when I find something, and pics will be posted.

Hawaiian bud? I've never had the honor...

ScrOG or Mainlining is great for indoor sativa. I used light dep and mainlining to get a sativa to grow 8 one ounce mains on a tiny bush by halloween outside.









The progression for me was:
  • Shwag Leaf
  • Columbian Gold
  • Panama Red
  • Hawaiian Red (Kona)
  • Maui Wowie
  • Thai Sticks (thin and thick)
  • Moroccan Blond Hash
  • Honey Oil (our version of BHO)
  • Kauai Electric (hallucinogenic)
  • Humboldt Piney Bud
  • Big Skunk Buds
  • Giant Kush Buds (like artichokes)
  • Everything
  • Home Grown

I started with a couple clones of White Widow and Hindu Skunk and progressed from there. I don;t remember all of the strains I have grown but the list would be long as I was doing a plant or two of each strain for a while in a 5x5 perpetual vertical garden with 1 gal pots. Too many strains, lol

Nothing beats the then magnificent SUN... the light depth method, amazing!

This mainlining technique is something I've never seen, after researching it I'm floored :idea: Why have I never thought of it?
I love learning something new. Your repertoire is impressive, especially the Kauai Electric:weed:



@Dezracer White Widow was my first as well, what I would do to still have that pheno.

The list goes on, over the years, if only they hadn't been lost....

that is the widow i will grow out one day;) my wife picked up my kessils today, and i should have them in tonight if i dont get sorry after i smoke:eyesmoke:

Here are the three I am just finishing, supplemented with Kessils at the end. Will use the Kessils all the way through on the next. Only vegged for 2 weeks in 1 gallon pots. All plants from fem seeds. First 2 are World of Seeds Obssession, the 3rd is WOS Northern Skunk (Northern Lights x Skunk). I topped UB style on the Northern Skunk. I also went pretty hard on them this run, space was tight so they got moved around a lot and I tried to overfeed without completely f-ing them up, etc... Had some minor temp issues because its getting hot here. All in all I'm pretty happy. Chopped the upper half of each and am letting the bottoms ride for another couple weeks.
