2012 Will be very sad if...

the Earth the sun and the center of the milky way galaxy are going to line up for the first time in like 26000 years. They predic because of the mass of the center of our galaxy and the mass of our sun this could cause some gravitational forces that may wreak havok on earth.
Say we may have more Earthquakes than usual and maybe a few volcanoes could go off.

But if Yellowstone goes off Nuclear winter will fuck 95% of the population...

Treu we are in the plane but not the center where the gravitaional forces will be the greatest. btw most large earthquakes timing can be matched to the lunar cycles when the moon is closest to earth and the gravitaional forces are the greatest. I am just saying this has the potential to be even more powerful. The only fact here is that no one knows for sure how it will affect us.

1 thought to ponder how the hell does anybody know how old the universe is or earth is. The spanish destroyed all but 4 codex pages from the mayans because they thought they were devil worshipers. That was only a handfull of years ago. They seemed to have all the astronamy stuff figuired out though.

Well, since modern scientists say NOTHING will happen on that day... I am with them. Pretty sure WE know more than the ancient Mayans did.... a whole lot more.

Personally, I'd enjoy the uncertainty that comes with living in a completely unfamiliar world. If 2012 happens, maybe its not a literal ending of the planet earth, just the ending of modern life as we know it. Perhaps we are destroying the planet so much that going back to the stone age is humanities only chance to co exist with mother earth.
