Had a great harvest for a first timer, but lost a lot to mold... a greenhouse next year for sure! Trying to stay under the legal radar and stretch my own personal harvest for my own personal use (+ sharing).

There's a huge loop hole in WA law if you're a passable gardener. Card holders go from legal to nearly felony level possession at harvest if they're decent gardeners. No provision for growing enough outdoors to last all year. The assumption is a continual harvest, to include power bills. too weird...needs to change, but the lobbyists are big time dispensaries who are trying to outlaw personal grows. Sound familiar? :-)

Weird stuff mountaingarden. I think all of the states have some fine tuning to do but just being able to grow anything is a huge step up from where things were, it used to be outlaw status or nothing. Down here in Cali weight is weight so if I run heavy at harvest time I make a bunch of concentrate. If I'm holding an oz of dry sift or bubble they see it as the same as an oz of flowers.

I'll bring some Medi to the gathering, only grew 3 and after worm damage got about 8 lbs from the 3. All 3 plants were over 3 lb plants prob closer to 3 1/2 each. Think I have the fine trim left also, will look and if I do will bring it for JJs hash session.

Right off the track is a dried river bed, if you got 4x4 you can go up the river bed and there are more trails out there.

Have a feeling an oz of bubble wouldn't pass as an oz. of "dried" up here, but hope I never find out for sure! Totally agree being able to grow is a huge step forward. Now, if we can only dial back the $10 billion/year drug testing industry that's grown up since Nancy Ray-gun's astrologer told her to "just say no"...

On my way back to the bay area now. probably going to have to go back to trimming. I will save some white widow and blue dream for 420. Ill see if i got anything to make hash with. Stoked for this weekend or monday seein some of the members hopefully talk about the subject. Anyone see on other forums and craigslist congress is like trying to pass a bill to monitor and be able see what people do and say on the internet? Something a long those lines. Ita on the front of grass city and craigslist i am pretty sure. Inless these are false ads

4/20 Spring Gathering Cookbook update:

The cookbook is now double the size of two published cookbooks, The Cannabis Cookbook and Aunt Sandy's Medical Marijuana Cookbook. Imo, recipes mined from this site are as good, if not better. (Sure wish AKGrown would resurface!)

So...here's my next plea for something to do...what would you like to see in a cannabis cookbook that isn't already in the table of contents published earlier?

Yes, it is total BULL SHIT! They are trying to pass a bill or whatever making it where one internet big guy can squash a little guy saying "he in infringing on my business." Basically a monopolizing bunch of bullshit! 'supposedly' it is meant to stop piracy spots such as 'pirate bay' or back in the day, 'napster'. But what it really does it make it where ANY mr. bigg ass bull shit can say little bitch ass cat shit is taking my business. And then they can squash them out. Sooo not right.

It's no different than Big Pharma owning both political parties. Obama went into office thinking de-criminalizing pot was a no-brainer....and got slapped down smartly by Big Pharma's lobbyists, who are equal opportunity whores. Old school Dems march to the same tune as old school Repubs.

Have never looked into the actual stats, but pretty sure the US is the most chemically medicated nation on the planet. Recognizing the medical benefits of a plant would be catastrophic to financial interests.

Disney and other big $$$$ corps are pushing this. Push back!

I will stand up for whats right. Just think in 20-25 years we will be out of fossil fuel.. 1 out of 2 children/person will be on some stupid pill that has worse side effects than the pill does good.. When there is a all natural no side effects besides being healthy.. Like the gerson therapthy that cures every diease known to man. Tell me how f***ed everyone is now.
