and you seriously don't think he could raise any blocks with what he was doing? he was raising a 20 ton block 6-7 feet just to get it to stand up, if he can raise a block that high, he can raise it 20-50 feet if he had the means. which you bet your ass the egyptians sure did.

it's common knowledge that everyone in ancient times were complete idiots without any understanding of math of science. The only way anything could of ever been made back then was by aliens.

I don't think it's too far fetched to think something grandios will happen. Every year there is a massive flood in Brazil when the sun and moon align. It stands to reason a massive gravitational alignment of the planets could produce a similar result.

So the Mayan calendar predicts the end of civilization in 2012, but they did not foresee their OWN demise?

How do you know it didn't predict their demise? If it's a massive flood like I just explained that very well could have been their demise. Had they not bee so "fearful" of the gods and sacrificing their population maybe there would be some people left to tell us about it.

Well he's kind of right. There is no factual basis of how it was done and it could be any number of ways. I certainly agree there probably wasn't any aliens or levitation involved. Nothing in science is ever certain. Just as soon as we think we know everything there is to know, something new is discovered to put things in a new perspective.

One thing is for sure the stuff was built and it was done it without modern technology. I don't think a lot of people give them the credit they deserve however. The simple fact that they had nothing to do and a common goal makes it way more possible than anything today. We can't even band together on the smallest of issues these days, most less begin to fathom what society as a whole could accomplish if dedicated to one project.

er well I do anyhow.. I like to watch the national news channels to see whats going on in the world around me... and it seems like as the days and months go by.. it seems that there are more and more huge events (such as the oil spill!?!) happening every single day. I dunno, everyone here is entitled to their own opinion.. but IMO.. I really do believe that the world WILL end one day.. but it won't be in my life time. Or will it? Who are we to say that it won't happen in our life times?? Seriously.. how can we be absolutely 100% positive and sure that it won't happen in our life times? You just never know.. and we can't never be 100% certain that it won't happen during our life time.

Thats the thing about life.. you never know whats going to happen, as the clock ticks away each second, minute, hour, day, month, and year.

So, you really need to have an open mind about the subject.. to really understand.

But anyhow.. I'm going to keep living my life each day to the fullest, I will continue to smoke every day.. as long as I'm still here on this planet. And until the day, when I'm called to the heavens.. I will keep wondering.. "What if.."
