If you know the latitude where you live you check the daylight hours for any day of the year at http://tinyurl.com/yd3s5zm. Where I live in norcal on 14 April I will be at 13 hours. The equinox (12-12) is 20 or 21st of March.

I put my plants out when my roses start blooming. That's usually a good sign that it is warm enough.

yea i was also wondering if a certain type of plant should be planted at certain times, for example a sativa might be planted earlier because it takes longer to flower....an also if i put a plant out early or late how does it affect the yield, potency, etc......like when are the best times? this year ima go wit a couple sativas, but heavy on the purples and kushes

I also wonder, with all this global warming and what not, if the outdoor season has actually fluctuated?

I have already tossed a couple outside from my cabinet grow. I am just waiting for this wind storm to pass through to decide if I want to take a couple others out there as well. :) Good luck!
