2011 Already?

hey hodge, your grows are looking remarkable even though you may think differently in comparisson to your grows years prior. went through the whole thread before i felt it necessary to post and good heavens does that pie look good..... i can almost taste it. the pie amongst other greener things are most definetly mouth watering hahaha! i wish you the best of luck in your fight with the government to grow your plants and would love to hear details. Remember: make your own luck. never give up the fight.

Thanks Bro, wish you were closer then you could get a slice of some good home made pie. Put about half the time and effort into this years grow and it shows but after a few bad moves this year, found I would need some extra meds. Thanks again for the encouragement, was appreciated.
Oh we had a killer pasta dish with lots of fresh Ragu...

Pie.....
My wife has been promising me a peach cobbler for a while. About to miss the season.
I might have to insist:)

Hops

cobbler, ragu, pie. damn these are just a few of my favorite things haha. I just moved to Colorado so technically its coloradochronic now :p but back in maui at my favorite restaurant my friend justin (the chef) would whip up a crazy lamb ragoo that would blow anyone away, not to mention his amazing burgers that are beyond juicy. shit now im just rambling on food and lord knows i could go for hours. because of my living arrangements i cant really grow right now but i did grow before i moved out this summer and had quite a bit of luck. just enough to keep myself and 10 of my closest friends happy during those lazy summer days which is perfect in my book.

I see a lot of shadows on them plants, looks like we need to take down a few trees in the front yard between the garden and the road. I know you want to keep that privacy barrier, but I think it can be thinned out a bit, maybe just the tall ones?

I know the boy must be busy!

Were moving the garden behind cabin next season but will still need lots of the area cut down, need a winter job? Kid has 2 of his friends up there now, still waiting for another bid on the septic and kitchen cabinets.

I'll come work for you anytime Hodge,....well let me take that back, I'll be busy the next 6-8 weeks. :-)
Sounds like you need to purchase a backhoe to me, I put in my own septic system here, and your going to need to remove those stumps back there too, must be between 150-200 stumps we left behind. Would be nice to have a backhoe to remove them stumps too, and work on the driveway....food for thought.

I bought one, did all the work that needed to be done here, then sold it for $500 more then what I paid for it when I was done!

Hey Hodge,...
Did TLD and his boys do that clean-up work, or was that your son's buddies? Looks good back there, WTG whoever did it.

Neighbor has a cat 944, one of those front end loaders. He traded my son for some of the soft wood you guys cut, he has a portable saw mill as well. I have a good friend in Redding about 3 hours away who has a backhoe, he's a general contractor and wanted to help his son out if he needs the work? If not, I'll have a local dig it out, save money and puts dollars into local community. Would like to buy a small dozer say like a D-4 cat or a case 450, friend will teach my sons how to operate it and boys will be working for themselfs?
Just got off the phone with Loaded Dragon, he's headed up there this weekend and will finish up the bucking of stuff that was felled.
