Just curious what ratio of the FF nutes you are using? I based mine off the FF chart, I found that using 3 tsp of the GB burns. I never use more than 2 tsp per gallon of the GB, but the TB I go up to 3. I really like the results of the FF products myself.
Brother, I took your advice and stepped down my nutes when I fed them last Tuesday. Like you said, your results speak for themselves. Hard advice to ignore.

I'm giving them 2 tsp/gallon of Grow Big, and 1 Tbs of Big Bloom/gallon. I haven't stayed true to the Fox Farm feeding chart (hopefully not to my detriment), as I've heard it's not necessary to use Tiger Bloom until flowering starts.

I guess I could start using the Tiger Bloom nutes now as that's what Fox Farm (and you) recommend. I've just been tentative about using too many different nutes/watering for fear of nute burn/lockout.

I meant when they flower I mix the GB and the TB, sorry for the confusion. For veg I use a little more than 2 tbsp of the BB per gallon, I just pour the BB into a measuring cup and let a bunch over flow so I'm not sure exactly how much I use. Def a little more than 2 tbsp for veg and I use 1 tbsp per gallon of the BB during flowering.

I agree about not using to many things, keep it simple and you'll succeed. After a season of using these nutes you'll get to know them and be able to apply them with better precision. Everything looks great too by the way.

Ah, I gotcha.

I had no idea I was gonna run through this much Big Bloom when I bought these nutes. It goes pretty fast at 2-3 Tbs/gallon. I can now see why you buy those big ass containers of Fox Farm nutes....probably a lot cheaper in the long run.

Yea man, I sure as hell wish I would've just used buckets to begin with; big mistake to try my luck with this impenetrable clay soil that doesn't drain water. Even after replacing my holes with a great soil mix, I was always left with puddles for days and days after it rained in the holes.

Next year, I'll be back in the midwest, where I probably won't be able to grow either of these strains due to the shorter summer; although I'm gonna anyway.

I'll have much better soil to work with though, and look forward to growing some NEL sized trees with any luck. :leaf:

Yep, less is more for sure. You can always add more but you can't take it out.
Good points for sure. I've never used liquid nutes like these before, only used natural organics in the past for soil grows.

So for my next feeding, I'm gonna go with my usual 2 tsp/gallon of Grow Big, 1 Tbs/gallon of Big Bloom, and 2 tsp/gallon of Tiger Bloom, which is basically what Fox Farm's schedule says (minus 1 Tbs of Big Bloom, as I'll run out of that before anything else).

So far, I'm pretty impressed with how green these plants look with these nutes. Almost as green as some of the hydro I grew back in the day.

Haha, well if I have, I'm not growing enough weeds to help my camo...:-)

I'm actually using a lotta Big Bloom, and will most likely have to buy more of it before too long.

That stuff really goes fast.

If you dont mind me asking NEL, how much do those 5-gallon containers cost you? I wish I could pick them up locally, but the place that sells Fox Farms near me only sells the 1 liter bottles.

Hopefully when I get back to the midwest, I'll be able to find a vendor within a 100 mile radius of me that sells those big-boys. Hell, I'd be happy to just find the 1 gallon size.

Sounds like you done like me. I read the mix wrong and bought a gallon of tiger bloom. Then when I got ready to mix the first batch I realized it's BB you use all the time. Doh!

Yea, I just bought the 3 pack of Fox Farms stuff to see how it worked. And now that I'm down with using it to the end, I wish I bought more.

I should've paid attention to the Fox Farms feeding schedule a little more closely; I would've have seen that you use a lot of Big Bloom throughout the entire growing process.

Oh well, live and learn.
