Hi Bob, LST= Low Stress Training. This is topping your plant, then pulling the vertical growth lateral, to promote more growing sites, or cola's. You will find many tutorials on this topic in here.
Today, we start the flowering of the girls in the green room. It wasn't supposed to happen this way, as they were meant to be my OUTDOOR, 2011 grow.
They just took off on me and no way to slow them down. However, they are all cloned, and now I have 40+ girls to choose from for the patio. I'm really hoping for an early and warm Spring. Good luck & good grow.......BB

Well, here I am again.....Jeeezzz...on the fast track now...The clones in the Rapid
Rooters have exploded and must be transplanted to peat cups and soil.......
However, the clone chamber is waiting for the light bar & lights to show up....
So...I had to go ahead and get 30 of them cupped, then all jammed up in the Germination Station......not very pretty, it's gonna be survival of the fittest.

Hi Bill, yeah, I'm on pins and needles waiting for for the FedEx. Bulbs and light bar should be here today or tommorow.

Bloody Presidents day! The lights showed up Friday, but NO light bar. Hopefully tomorrow. In the mean time, I have ALL 44 clones in cups now, yes 100% on the clones! We are now JAMMED into the germination station, waiting for the light bar.
The 15 mom's in the grow-room continue their explosive grow, I'm afraid they won't turn out to be much because it's just too tight in there. I was way out of line when I started so many strains at once. Anyhooey, here's some pix of the cupped clones, waiting for the clone chamber to open up,
2 shots of the girls out for some sunshine, and a shot of the grow room an hour ago.

Germination station, what a cool name for a grow chamber! I thought it was about time i made a effort and gave ya a pic of my sour cream.

Finally!......The light bar arrives, and we are in the "new" clone chamber.
BUT....We still have a space problem! The roots have exploded out of the peat pots and 10 of them must go to bag, NOW. The Moby Dick is particularly vigorous; 4 cuts and 4 of the strongest in the bunch. I would appreciate any input on this strain.
It is quite clear now, I started this project WAY too early! I wish one of the cannabis geeks would come up with a "hibernation" formulation that would put the girls on hold until warmer weather arrives. Until then, we muddle through,
and "keep on truckin'", LOL.......BB

Hi bill, thanks for the thought, unfortunately we are still getting down to 28 some nights and I don't think I could protect them well enough for any chance of success. However, I almost have convinced my sister to take them into her greenhouse. She's carded up and all, but works for the local school district, so still a bit paranoid. I will work it out, cuz in my world, NO cannabis gets wasted, THAT'S my job! LOL.

put them outside under glass jars? I use a window leaned up against my house on a south wall or two windows together, like a tent, open each end

They are 2 Moby Dick, left rear; 2 Blue Mystic, right rear; front, left to right, Cheisel, WarLock, and 2 Motavation.
Here is the clone chamber, 30 of them really need to go to bag, NOW!
Just really silly of me to start so much with nowhere to go.......BB

Yeah bill, that's the other half of this "bitter-sweet" tale. 15 strains in gal bags, on 24 sq. ft. floor space. 400 watts of mixed CFL, plan to add 4x30 more tomorrow.
12/12 for 10 days now, beginning to stink like "crazy"! & I love it, LOL.
It's sure not fair to the girls to be so pack in together, but grow room space just doesn't "fly out of a monkey's ass". I'm very limited for indoor space and electricity. So, as said before, I'll muddle on and "Keep on Truckin'"

With that many cfls why not just run a 400 or a 600 hps instead?
Regardless of what lights you are using, the ladies look beautiful I cant wait till they start packing on some buds
