2009 Winter Grow; Unionizing the Midwest

Well here I am again, some of you may remember me or seen my first grow journal here. Although I stopped updating, I did end up finishing the grow. With some extra smoke and brownies in tow, I am starting my new venture in medical gardening.

Thanks to a friend of mine, I fell into some legit seeds from the Attitude. Needless to say, I am the happiest I've been in months, haha. The seeds I have popping are as follows: Purple Wreck (5), Chocolope (1), Moby Dick (1), LA Confidential X Skunk (3), Sleestack X Skunk (3).

This time around I am setting up a veg spot as well as using the tent as seen in the previous grow. For my veg spot I will be using the T5s and a Megagarden system. In this spot I hope to keep strong mothers going for as long as possible.

As for the flowering, I am going to use the same tent and hydroponic system as last time. Since I've removed the T5s for the parent plants, the tent now has a 400w HPS light. Tonight is the first night in the tent and I am excited to see how my plants that are in there now will respond.

Sorry for the sub-par quality of the photos, but my phone is all I have right now. Any comments, questions or general advice will be greatly appreciated.

I added three new strains to the mix. They are: Kandy Kush, OG18 and Kushberry all mixed with Skunk (Gotta love that free seed offer, thanks DNA and Attitude!)

Additionally, I setup a preliminary mother spot. Can anyone tell me if having open air mother plants is a bad thing? Or should I invest in another cabinet?

open air? you mean like how plants grow naturally outside?
