2009 outdoor operation.

Can you give me some good soil mixtures for my outdoor grow op? I plan on digging a big hole for each plant and filling it in with good top soil and any other mixtures you can give me? Organic shit only.And i have to plant my northern lights seeds in the ground. Can you give me any help im a bit of a noob.
