2009 Outdoor Grow UK

So after a failed attempt last year because our plants died before they flowered properly due to planting them mid-july, we have decided to give it a proper go in 2009, we are trying to grow about 30 female plants which will be a mix of Hollands Hope, Early Misty and some free Swiss Mix seeds.

We have got an early start this year and we will have the seeds sometime next week and ready to plant.

Could anybody with experience of growing these types of plants please give us some feedback, we mainly chose them because they are easy to grow and can stand the cold wet climate in the UK.

Anyway, I'll keep you posted every week as I did last year and hopefully we will have a good yield by October.

mm outdoor in uk im from uk n im finking about doin a outdoor id like 2 no how it goes
Well our grow last year did well suprisingly, we just planted too late unfortunately so they never really flowered. Not too mention it was our first grow and we tried to grow one of the hardest types of plants. This year I am slightly more confident because we have learnt from our mistakes last year, and the plants are much more suited to this type of climate here. Anyway I will keep you informed.

I am also growing Hollands Hope. I'm excited to see how well it does here on lat 45. We have similar weather to British Columbia so i would imagine a strain bred in the Netherlands should excel here. Good Luck to all! Remember to work hard, but don't forget to live easy.

I hope you UK boys can eventually establish your own land race, if you grow enough in your crappy climate there will eventually be a strain or combination of strains that acclimate themselves and thrive, all varieties mentioned should resist and hopefully grow like crazy, who knows, maybe you'll invent a new strain, you should call it "Queen Mother"! May has been a great month weather-wise so far, lets hope it continues and that you have a stellar season!
