hella nice setup wish i had the funds to do all this..

im wanting to do a sealed room and run co2 but still gotta drywall my spot up thinkin` bout doing a 6x6 area with a door so i can get rid of this tent.
i just harvested mine last month round the time you did didn`t post any pics know i said i would .

but i got my aeroflo2 18 site goin nutz and my veg is finished & hope i didn`t let them get to tall limited height like always for me and im already over a foot off the floor which is shit since i don`t have even 7ft. clearance.

more than likely just going to use this aeroflo to transplant my ladies once they get 8inch tall next time which i highly regret not doing so now..Im debating on buying an ebb& gro 12 pot system now and just transplant em.

going to post a journal finally and show some pics from my diesel harvest whats left anyway. shit was so tasty think i`ve burnt up a couple zips a week to the face alone..will send ya the link here soon.

that orange crush diesel sounds tasty..

Just wanted to touch base. I have had some medical issues going on and trying to get my new room set up at the same time, so haven't had much time to get on RIU. Anyway, I haven't decided if I am going to start a new journal or not, but wanted to update the progress on my new set-up.

-New additions: 2 ocho reflectors, 10" carbon filter and fan, two 50 gal easy drain reserviors, titan 30 amp sub with timer, 20 pnd c02 tank, titan regulator, tub sink, diy tables on casters, I also put down ply wood on the floors with pond liner over it with a 4" lip around the perimeter incase of spills or flooding, I also picked up a 1500gmh sump pump to drain the reserviors, each res has a circulation pump and along with the flood pump, oh and the 9000BTU AC/dehumidifyer( It looks like I will have to pick up a better dehum)
-I bought a co2 controller/monitor and extra 20 ond co2 tank that should be here this week.
-I still have to put up either mylar or panda( haven't decided yet.
My room is 10x12x12 with a closet that I put the sink in. I have to say, it is so friggin nice having water in the room. I tinted the one window in the room and put up panda film black side out against the glass. I am using 1 gal smart pots filled with coco/perlite and 3 to 4" of mini rockwool cubes in the trays. The reflectors are air cooled in a closed loop to keep the room as sealed as can be with the ac. I have been running about 800ppm co2 during veg. I put the ballasts up on a shelf 9' up to try to keep the heat up on the ceiling.
Current strains are Purple Kush, Mango Kush, Papaya, and Orange Crush Deisel

Anyway here are some pics
Killer setup man. Amazing job bro.
The new room with the sink in there is just awesome man. I am quite certain that your whole grow is going to get kicked up another notch, and damn your grows were already wicked.

Pk should be heavier with that co2 runnin. Its already fantastic so wieght would be the benefit I think. I would be interested to check out those roots poopin through the smartpots for sure. Im considering going that direction next round. Heres a link to my new journal raider if you want to check it out sometime. Your expertise would always be welcome :)

Here ya go, some roots shots. I just pulled a little of the cubes back as to not damage the roots. Remember these roots just started poppin through a couple days ago. I will check out your new grow for sure.

Yea man, the money did start to add up. I used the dispensary donation money. Good to hear your harvest went well gr8. I would love to check out some pics. I think you would have an easy transisition if you went with the ebb&gro. I almost went that route myself. I just already had the trays and figured I would just set up the eb/flo tables instead. Yea, for sure get me that link when you start your journal.
I am actually really excited to see the Orange Crush X NYC Deisel finish.

Thanks Bender! I am so stoked on the sink.lol it just makes everything easier. I also have a quick release hose attachment so I can pop my hose on to fill trays and shit. I have different heads for the hose, ie mister so I can fill the sink and drop a pump in the bottom to foliar spray. My old room was tight and hard to keep clean because of it's location so I am very happy with this new set-up. Thanks for the compliment my friends. I am trying your clonning tea today. I soaked the coco last night and will pop in the shoots here in a while. I used almost everything on your list except the molasses.

Here is a look at my outdoor. I only put out 5 because of the space available and what can be seen from the neighbors yards. But from closest to farthest are Mango, Blue D, Ed's superbud, chem D, and Kimo Blackberry dynomite. I used 7 bags of botanicare pure earth with one bag of organics alive in 100 gal smart pots.

You welcome bro, everything is looking great. Love the root shots. I can think of pros for filling up the table with rw for roots to grow in and I can also see some pros of just doing the smart pots in the tray. I would be very curious on how much pos or negative difference it makes.

So the main pro with filling the tray with rw would be that you are giving so much more space for root growth, which is never a bad thing. On the other hand this is almost like filling the entire table with the medium.

The benefit of using just the smart pots in an empty tray would be that the roots constantly get air pruned, hence they branch our crazy inside. Also this allows the smart pot to dry faster which would allow for more smaller feedings, introducing a lot more oxygen to the roots.

These are just my thoughts Raider, I am not sure which method would work better. What do you think bud?

Yeah bro, this new setup is going to be much easier to maintain man, great thinking on moving your setup to this room.

Sounds great that you are trying the tea. Remember that the humidity is much lower now so keep a close eye on the coco or the RW, oh are you trying the tea in aero style cloner.

If you don't want to use the molasses because it will clog the sprayer, then try and get some other sugars for hydro.

The sugars in that recipe are off utmost importance. The bacteria in there needs sugars to eat on, and grow. You can keep a tea good and alive for as long as you want if you keep feeding the micro-life. If you don't feed them then the micro-life will start dying and allow for other pathogens to grow in the solution.

Thanks buddy, I will have to add the sugars next time I do it then. I just didn't have any is why I left it out. I am using coco coir, I will be loading my aero cloner in another few days before I flip the switch in the flower room. I just figured I would try out the coco method. The one thing about my new room is since the walls are so far away from the trays I am not sure I will get much reflection from the mylar or panda. I think I will just do the closest walls it will add some reflectivity anyway. Yea the outdoor is cool since I haven't grown outdoors before. I picked up a chlorine filter that attaches to my hose bib. I called my buddy that measures the water before it leaves the water treatment plant and he said they don't have ot do much to the water because it is so clean when it gets to the plant from the sierras. He said it leaves the plant with .9 ppm of chlorine and they use some type of chlorine gas so it disapates as soon as it hits the air. I still decided to use a filter to protect the beneficials. Anyway, rampling now. Sorry I smokes some Blue dream and it always makes me ramble a bit, but I do appreciate it Bender.

You welcome bro. LOL you didn't ramble at all man, I definitely feel you on the blue dream, it really makes the mind race.

About the reflectivity, you are right, you are definitely gonna lose some light due to the walls being farther. On the plus side you know have space on the sides to add some blue light.

Another idea is to make a frame and turn it into a movable wall. I jotted down a picture for you. Hell you can even add wheels to it. In the picture I didn't add the top and bottom horizontal panel, so it can be folded. Thanks raider, now I am gonna use this idea too.

I am planning on growing vegetable outside and I think I should pick up a chlorine filter too. Great idea bro. I know your outdoor grow is going to be fantastic. Just stay safe my brother.

I am doing veggies too :) I thought about somethign similar to what you are saying on the reflective movable walls, but I would have to re-think my airflow I have three oscilating fans on the walls, which I the walls would shield. I have also though of some side lighting, I have a couple extra sets of t-5's I could hang on yo-yos, I think I will probably just run with what I got for now though with some mylar or panda on the walls. I am tapped out after all the new shit. Thanks for the ideas though man, I will keep thinking about it until I do something. lol

I feel you on the low funds. Best to work with what you already got, them blue t5 lights would make some great side lights.

What an idiot I am, never attached the picture I drew out in paint.

LMAO, hell raider you should have said something. Sweet, let me know what you end up doing.

I am discussing the Booster timings of H&G with Jberry in my thread, I would really appreciate if you joined the discussing and chimed in.

I am just thrown off a bit by the booster timings HG suggest.
