What room temp you running right now bro? Your plants look like they could either use the light closer or the room temp higher. I'm not complaining, they look great and I don't want you to fuck anything up, but it's just an observation. They aren't looking as perky as they were the other day that's all.

What are your night temps at, could be that also. I find that if I don't have a heater keeping the room at at least 75 F at night, they start getting droopy and a little yellow new growth.

I like to drop the temps below 70 F at night when they are 2 weeks from harvest. Supposed to increase yield.

Is this your 2000w HPS room that the photos are of?

lookin good man, just watch the over watering on those clones in perlite, twice during the daytime maybe enough on a mild feed, they can easily be over-watered if roots haven't taken hold properly.
you'll be fine man

Right now night time temps dip to about 65F ish and daytime temps are about 79F. it is the 2000W Room but I didnt get the second hood and light installed till tonight so I expect the temps to change in there slightly. Pretty sure the light color is just from the temp change since by the time the lights come on the color is the same as the rest of the cannopy. Might look into changing my temps a bit but with the perpetual I will end up to the point that I either need to dip the night time temps all the time or not do it at all since the weeks will be broken across the 4 systems.

At what point do you remove all the underbrush below the screen? Or is that a never?
This time I am going to try it without removing underbrush, then next time i hit the GDP in the scrog going to do it removing it, want to see what is going to be best for this plant. I will prolly do the same with all the plants that I end up scroggins.

Amazing grow. I just tuned in. Im excited for more updates.
Thanks for stoping in bro, great to have ya following!

Don't worry bout the algae, they will soon shade the perlite. Ofcourse you can scoop it out and replace with fresh/washed perlite. careful not to touch new roots. You can also just cover the tops of the pots for a few days, stop the light getting to the surface. Mine never turns into a problem and perlite must be kept moist at all times. Algae is sometimes inevitable.

Oh I forgot to mention, the two Fire OG trash plants are dry and curing. Ended up with 22.6g out of those two plants. Not bad for plants that were completly neglected.

I have alot to tell you guys about the grow, but just am lacking the time to be communicatative for a few more weeks. Thank you for your patience.

Hello once again from the Blunt Cave!

Sorry I have not been more active. Had a lot of crap happen, some great some bad, but it is life.

My mom passed away in October, and 3 days later I married my wife. Battled heat and root rot due to aeroponics being too finicky to do when you are dealing with death and marriage, and ended up having to change my entire grow around. Got my new truck and boat as I had promised my mom, and yeah that's a quick overview.

I will start taking pics of the grow soon and explain the changes in what I am doing. I promise it will be well worth it. right now I have the healthiest plants I have ever had, and I successfully (so it seems knock on wood) defeted spidermites in my second system and saved the flowers due to good vigilance. Whoever thought winter cold and rain were a good thing is wrong. everyone I know has been battling spider mites since the weather moved in. friggin sucks!

Anyways, New posts and pics are on the way, and the Bluntman has returnithed!

01-11-2013 Mini Update of the Blunt Cave

So I promised I would start posting something so here it is. Things are going well in the cave, been fighting spider mites on the scrog side of the room but right now it seems like I have kept them at bay and kept them off the flowers. And they haven't spread. Since its going to be a little bit before I can clear the room and bleach it fighting and prevention is all I can do for the moment.

Here is the scrog side, and yes I know I am only using half the light. that is because the second table will be going into the room next week to continue the perpetual.

Here is the non scrog, LST side. They are in various stages of flower, with the large plants starting week 1 flower a few days ago and the ones closest to the camera that are shorter at the moment still being in transition. Way it is working with the new setup, things end up catching up nicely and become a nice uniform height.

Here is a closeup shot of one of my chemdogs that are at the end of week 4 of flower.

Here is either a Black Domina or a Purple Kush in day 3 of flower. Cannopy is too thick right now and my back hurts too much for me to try to trace what plant it is and check its tag, so its one of the two. Gotta love purpleing on day 3 of flower.

Here is another Chem Dog end of week 4 of flower.

Chem Dog Day 3 of Flower

Sour Diesel, end of week 4 of flower.

And last but not least, another Black domina or purple kush (see above) in day 3 of flower.

So that's it for today, camera's battery died while I was trying to take pictures. Hope everyone enjoys, and until next time.
