I have 2 1000 watt air cooled Hps. Im trying to grow 6 Plants. 3 per light. trying to yeild a pound per plant.. My friends have done it using a special recipe but i lost it. Im using fox Farm soil. and fox farm chemicals such as

for vegetating im using

Fox farm - Grow big ( 6-4-4)

and for flowering im using
1)Tiger bloom - extra strength
2)sesame- for promoting multiple bud development
3)beastie blooms- heavy weight blossum builder
4)cha ching- heavy resin production

also im using 5 gallon buckets..

think i can pull off a pound per plant or whats your estimate? and any pointers will be good
thanks

i dont know about a pound but you should get some good weight with those lights, all depends on how long you veg them

Yeild also depends on the strain you want to grow.

Here is a Bubba Kush I vegged for about 2 - 3 months.

I pulled a few ounces off her, but I only had a 400 watter. Im sure you could get more yeild with a nice sativa and a couple 1000 watters.

Good Luck

you could pull id say 2-3 ... but you need some space and train alot....at that height it doesnt matter if you had 3 1000s there is a point of where the there is a diminishing return value...

i would suggest maybe 15 gallon buckets that will definatly help u get there but i think more like 6 ounces a plant wud be a better goal dont get ur hopes to high just to be disapointed

Yeah Man you could get what your looking for as in harvest but you are not going to be able to do that in 5 gallon buckets. Hey are you using like a special bucket that has been lined with special stuff to act as rock if so you could do it you can pick those up at hydroponic stores or online. But I have 4 plants under a 1000 watt hps sun system and I was using just 5 gallon buckets from home depot and I vegged them for a month and 2 weeks then started flowering them. They were all soon to be very very very close to root bound didnt think that would happen but the 1000 watt puts out so many lumens that it grows so fast and big.

But I managed to transplant them dont ask how it was hard and VERY LUCKY but i transplanted them into 22 gallon buckets. AND THOSE BUDDIES ARE GETTING NICE

bucket size has nothing to do wit it.. its all about training and topping.. i pulled 13 ounces off one plant in a 1.5 gallon pot.. rootbound is not a real problem

If you are using 2 1000 watt bulbs you shouldnt need to lst them.

Here are some pictures from DIRTBAGS journal. He only has 1 1000 watt bulb vertically and he does a great job with it.

PUSHED TO THE SIDE ABOVE FOR THE SHOT. THE LEMON SKUNK.
