Sf4000 spider grower same as hlg and alot cheaper uses samsung leds lm301bs awsome light
Don't kid yourself, SF4000 is a choice if on a budget. It's not the SAME as an HLG light........binned diodes that HLG rejects are bought up by budget companies. Either buy HLG quantum boards and DIY the light or buy an HLG.

Dude do some research

In the early days, we didn't have individual mono diode spectrums, which are the evolution to producing a better spectrum balance. Can you grow with 4k and 3k, yes, but...

If you're so sure, buy a comparable SF and do a side by side, THEN get the buds lab tested

Early days of what? Surely you don't mean the early days of LED grow lighting. And again I ask you, how did Spider Farmer arrive at the correct ratios to get this so-called "balanced spectrum"? And you do know that 3000k and 4000k both contain a wide band of wavelengths, and are not a single color, right?

I don't buy garbage, sorry.

Only the best.

And you know this how EXACTLY? Personal experience seems out of the question, so...

FYI, I use Amare Technology SE 260 and P-3, also I have a BML SPYDR 600 (6 bars). with a combination of diode spectrums that Nick and I collaborated on way back in 2014, the spectrums are very similar to what SF is doing now, except 660 wasn't stable then, and far red wasn't a thing, so I went with 630 which I was told at that time, provides 90%+ of 660, but is stable

Note the lights the OP is asking about are not the best/money no object. In that grouping I see SF as a reasonable alternative

Hi
I have a 4.5 x 8.5 with 1000 watt mh and 1000 hps.
I am looking to get into LED and replace 1 of the lights. Ive been looking at HLG, Timber and Rapid LED. Im fine with assembling a kit but don't really want to buy just a list of DIY parts right now.
What would you guys recommend and which HID would you run with it?

Top Bin is what you're looking for. Spent a month looking into a great assembly and figured if I'm putting it together on a budget it's a lottery.
