I just went out to peal a few big buds apart and I'm all good right now. It's such a toss up right now before about a week full of rain. Chop or not you know. Pulling the tops of is a great idea. Would they mold if the rain doesn't stop?

Well I hate to say it.... I really do.... buy harvest is going to be a bit early this yr. All this cold rain has affected some of my babies.

On the bright side I did check them this morning and I have 100% milky with anywhere between 3-5% amber. Was going to let them go another two weeks but I refuse to lose a whole grow to rot.

I'm not taking the whole plant down tho only the top 30% of each branch and letting the smaller more airy buds get more mature. They won't have as much of a chance to get affected as the big dense ones.

I have them separated so I will know what kinda yield I pulled of each. Will let everyone know when time.

The tops have more of a chance because they are so dense. But even I will be keeping a very close eye on the smaller ones. FUGGIN RAIN! This has been such a wet yr....

I pulled the top 2/3rd off last night. This is what's left. My trichs are where I want them to be anyway.

I at least know this is going to be an awesome pull! Just cutting the tops off (about 8 inches worth) and leaving sides and lower branches, I was able to fill a clothes hamper to the top from each plant. And there is still sooo much left!

Yeah...I will get some up.... will take bout an hour but here is one of what is left after I cut....

I have around 360 top colas right now hanging, and I still have 3 bd to cut. My crazy miss hydes I'm leaving. They seem to be very resistant.

How far in were they, im gonna chop a few of mine early after this weekend as I have Inlaws staying. Spotted a little mold and snipped it. The two im chopping showed pre flowers around Aug06 but I didn't start counting flowering till the 20th. I figure they are at 45ish days in would certainly like to leave them. First frost warning tonight but then 55-65 F for the next week so I'm gonna cover with some sheets and hope for the best. I have two that need another 3weeks at least, might end up as concentrate depending

I don't really count days or weeks when growing outdoors. I just know what done looks like. But I would bet they were almost two weeks from where I would have chopped if I had a choice.
There is still soo much left on each plant that will get to see full maturity.

I also left all the leaf on. A little protection from the fans and slows down the drying time. We think alike.

Yup it's all about the slow cure! I have the temp in the room at 70 and got the RH to 59. Had to use a little space heater to achieve that....but it's all working out!!!

Finally got to try some of it, and I'm more then happy! Really truly a long lasting happy high.

Thanks man!!!!! Just checked my indica doms and the ones I already half chopped and they are just beautiful.... I promise there will be more and better pics to come. I've already pulled down around 6 pounds of just top buds off of 5 plants and there is still 8 more to go that hasn't been cut!
Good thing I live in the country because anywhere around my house right now reeks of weed lol
