I have landed myself right smack dab in the middle of an idiotic situation. :hump::clap:
:weed:
I am in week two of flowering and the smell has gotten pretty strong in my place. Needless to say i need to nip that in the butt right now...
:o
nevertheless, i have no extra money to spend, or atleast i wont until 13 days from now.
i could bitch and moan but technically i really mismanaged my own personal finances and i am very glad to be where i am.

:spew:
There is some scary shit goin down out there in the real world and i am happy as hell and thank my lucky stars.

so does anyone have any ideas on how to cover the smell in my place?

I once was told by a relative that they put towels soaked in amonia and hung them in a room.

they claimed that it somehow made the air seem so clean for days. Mind you they where smokers.

So, I wonder is that a nuterulizer?

you can take a bucket that has a lid and a fan how big depends on the size of room i guess and fill it with whatever cleaning soulution you have pinesol or mr clean will work best and fill the bucket and mix with water dont need it to be super strong where it burns the inside of your nose lol and cut a hole in the lid so you can rig your fan to blow the smell outta the bucket and you'll have a house that smells like you just cleaned up oh yeah it be good if you got those automatic air freshners that spray every so often and keep em by your doors so no one can catch a whift if they come to your door

the best smell to cover cannabis smoke or bud smell is nag champa incense. this doesnt actually eradicate the smell though. I am actually struggling with a very strong chlorophil kind of cat-pissy smell at the moment coming off my top 44, It seems to be fairlly isolated in my grow room though.
I also have a cfl light with a clean air Ozone generator but that makes no diference whatsoever.

So Nag Champa!... anyone else addicted to this stuff?

i have already built the DIY Carbon Scrubber. Its the one made from the mesh pen holders from walmart.

I have used it with a computer fan. It barely makes any difference. My goal is to buy a 6 inch inline duct fan that pushes 160cfm, as soon as i have some extra cash. i just had to put a fuel pump in the car.

i am not sure, but i beleive that the computer fan is just simply not enough .

I have read all thru these forums. Sometimes it just seems like TMI. Some say these DIY Scrubbers only last three weeks. others say 3 months.

some say they use computer fans. sum say they use bathroom exhuast fans.

so the only thing i can imagine having enough suction ....is the inline duct fan.

oh yea. some say to set it up to suck thru the filter and others say to blow thru the filter....

either way i experimented and blowing seemed to not work right.... it was actually blowing air back thru the fan as it ran... so i am thinking that sucking is the way i want to go...
