Hello all.my seconddwc ever. Strain is humbolt headband. Gh tri flora series and cal mag plus. Distilled water and 3% hydrogen peroxide 8 ml pet gallon. Res temps stay in the low 60's high 50's. In using t5 8 bilb 4 red and 4 blue. Lights are maybe 18 inches from the tops. I changed the res and the water was brownish almost purple because of the nutes. Today it's all crystal clear. Plants look great to me. I was just wondering if maybe I'm using too much hydrogen peroxide. Also my ppms start at 400 since week to and they seem to steadily climb. I will dilute it if It raises above 450 but I figure my ppms should be higher by now. Thanks all.

Plant looks healthy. If the ppms are rising then the plant is drinking more water then it is using nutrients. I usually run fully flowering plants between 600-800ppm depending on the strain and it’s needs. More nutrients do not equal bigger buds or more growth. It’s all about providing the plant what it needs not trying to force feed it.

Yeah I know. I figured 400 was a little hot for this strain but I figured that by week three if I kept them at 400, the plant would catch up to its needs. Do you suggest that at 3 weeks, they dont need any more than 400 ppm? Or does it bot work like that.... I'm not sure

They should be just fine if you keep topping it off with water to keep it from jumping to much. If it keeps happening up till your next res change I would likely drop it a little to prevent needing to mess with it non stop. It’s your call really. The plant should keep growing into that ppm level as it gets bigger though.
