Hi Guys,

Thanks for all the feedback as usual I have listened to all the good advise and reaped the benefits. Am at 7 seven weeks now and have just began the flower cycle with a 2700 light which is very soft compared to the 6400 light. They are on 12/12 now.

I got some good soil with Perlite mix and repotted to bigger pots, the roots were really very cramped in the smaller pots,so now they have a bit more room to develop.

In the last week they have really progressed and jumped a few inches, think this was because the temp and humity were perfect.

So this week my problem is nut burn, so will be just using water for the next week or so. Anyway photos below of how they look now. I guess it will be a couple of weeks now before they show sex and thats will be the hurdle hoping for at least one girl.

Those plants look pretty good for 7 weeks, nice and compact. If you flower now with your plants like that, hopefully they'll be one big dense nug, like an ounce or so. When you're two or three weeks into 12/12, trim off the bottom 1/3 of the vegetation and you won't be disappointed :bigjoint:

I just checked my plants this morning, began flower cycle last Monday after 7 weeks of veg. One plant looks like its showing sex already and it looks like a girl :bigjoint:

Am posting a few photos would you mind confirming for me as it seems very early into flowering to be showing sex.

Cheers

thanks for the encourgment sirus, its a waiting game and I just have to be patient, it will be worth it in the end. Do you think it would be a good idea at this stage to remove the lower 1/3 of the plants leaves and growth?

Cheers

use the bottom branches for clones, you still have time to take the cuttings and root them, re-veg those for a little while and after your done budding those three babies, you'll have a nice fresh set of clones budded out.
use rooting gel, stay away from the powder.
Cheers.

any cutting will stunt the growth a bit so if your gonna flower soon I wouldnt take any.. Remember that in flowering unless they are auto the plant will grow to twice the size that it is now and use up the remaining nitrogen making some of the lower half die off anyway... its happen on all of my grows so i know its not the plant having problems its just the nature cycle...also it will thin out alot using more energy to produce its bounty... Your doing a great job... follow your water schedule and keep an eye on the bugger for problems.. also when you flower you want the humidity as low as you can get it to keep from providing conditions for mold... Keep a fan blowing around it, not direct contact but make it wiggle... pests dont like air movement

The first and last pic show def signs of stigmata... and no balls so thats a good chance of being female... The second pic its hard to see the inards... Great job !!:weed:

Thanks Guys, the advice is much appricated, I would like to do clones, but dont have the room to set up my veg lights again, so will be happy if I get this grow completed and some yield to keep me happy for awhile. I'll post another update early next week, was hoping to have them finished for paddys day but I guess easter or beyond is more realistic at this stage. homegrwn your right about them grown am having the move the light up every few days, they really moving.

Later

Hi Covertgrow, the best of luck with your grow, your on the best site for support and advice. Just be patient and you'll get there.

Here's an update am into week 11 now week 4 of flower cycle. The girls are still growin and lookin and smelling really good. I think there are buds forming on one of the ladies see the photo attached. I have a question for you guys do the plants sweat. I noticed some sap liquid on the leaves of some the the plants is this normal or a bad sign.

Cheers

nice grow.. im doing a similar grow with more bulbs but smaller wattages. prolly adds up to around the same 300W. the link is below if u wana check it out id like your advice looks like u know what ur doing. anyhow ive read somewhere on RIU that during flowering the plant does "sweat" a resin to protect itself when humidity levels are low. What i got from it was that its actually better to have low humidity not only for mold control but the resin (sweat) production. anyone reading this correct me if im mis-informed. will be watchin this one
