The biggest problem for new growers is over loving aka doin' too much but you're good. ;-)
I like that... OVER LOVING! hahaha. good lookin out gee! its been a learning experience that's for sur. but I know im going to make mistakes, but im also trying to limit the mistakes. next time I feed them im going to use a cup. im starting to realize that this is like cooking." its all about the mis!" I just have to have the right prep and everything else falls in place. I just got this little light to add some extra power. I figured for $20 why not try it.https://www.ebay.com/itm/191704290826

ok quick question I moved my temp sensor from the top of the tent to hanging from a string at canopy level. ever since doing it my temp has risen and my humidity is not constant like it was before I moved it. the temp went to 83 w/ 41% humidity and that's from 80 w/48%. I sprayed down the inside and temp went down to 77 w/ 69% humidity. my question is...if I get a humidifier and run that to keep the temps down and raise humidity is that ok? or should I try and push all the air out of the closet first and see what happens to the temp and humidity. is it bad to lower the temp by raising the humidity? I read that can cause mold in the flower cycle, but its good for veg cycle.

Ok, first...

Go back to my last post... reread, take a hit and chill...

I read your next posts like this:
"ah, right, chill I got it"
"so... this ... and ... that... this and that THIS AND THAT OMG I AM GOING FUCKIN INSANE AGAIN BLAWARRRRGGGG!!!!"

Veg and Flower temp ranges are roughly the same(some will argue, but this is your first grow).

Try to stay above 68F and below 85. Anywhere in there and you are laughing... (it doesn't have to be 72.89333 repeating)

Veg RH can be higher without issue... but you want to stay above 45 or so.... don't push much higher than 65...

Flower RH should be on the lower end... try to stay below 60, and anywhere above 40 is pretty good.

Again, these are ranges... try to keep your min and maxes during lights on and off(so a min and a max for lights on, and same for lights off) in those ranges.

Keep good airflow in the room(I'm in a 2x3 closet and my fan actually points towards a wall and it circulates the room enough)

Keep air coming in, and out (personally if you are attempting a sealed grow as your first, you are crazy :P)

Let your girls live life without you watching over them every 2 hours...
........

And on a completely different note, I would like to suggest reading/posting in the LED forums here if you are in the market for stuff... do your research before you waste money. Most of those chinese cheapo LEDs are no better than using a CFL bulb...(neither quality of light, nor power consumption is better for those cheapos)

Good luck. RELAX...

Are you exhausting you air, and drawing in fresh air? Temps should ideally be around 75°-78° in veg with about 50%-60% RH. Your definitely checking the appropriate spot though. You want your temps to be read at the canopy. I would think with that LED you wouldn't have those type of temps with a good air exchange. I run 1000w HPS open wing and get those temps without ac. Lol

I put a humidifier in today and now my temp is at 78-80 and 65-67% so im just going to let them chill right there and monitor with humidifier going. @Raven121415 thanks for all the help!
No problem man. I was in your shoes not so long ago. My 1st indoor run was close to a failure. Lol Over watered, over fed, was under powered on lighting, used shit soil. Lol But I learned what not to do on the next run. And then more of what not to do on that one as well. You'll eventually learn what they want just by looking at them. Just let them be for a good 2 weeks. Only water when they look droopy and don't feed until the 1st sign of lightening in color, then feed right away. You will be ok. Just be patient and let them tell you when they need you. Otherwise, its a weed man. Let it grow.

That's what I was thinking about doing. but I just turned it down before lights out and bring it to like 63-66 and when the lights go on I turn it back up to 70ish.so I think that might work until they grow and I have to adjust from there. but things are looking pretty good now. I have been trying to keep my temps according to the vpd chart and its been working. 78-80 w/ 68-70%. I feel like a fucken scientist!! haha. but on the real thanks for following this thread and helping a mofo out! @Raven121415 @Cx2H

just a little update things are looking good. Since putting in ffof and adding some big bloom at 1/3 strength these kids have been busy. I tied the 24k clone down and its holding up nice. During the day my temps stay at 80-81 and at night they have been 77-79. so I think for now I might still be on the right track, haha! they blew up over the weekend. I gave them a little big bloom and a little grow big. going to see how they respond. I split a half gallon between the 3 pots, and that was on Friday.

Ok, so 1st and foremost, fill that pot with more soil if at all possible. That stalk will sprout more roots. Your going to need to wait a bit longer to lst though. With lst, you want to bend the top, not really so much the stalk. I would wait until maybe 6" of growth from the 1st leaves. This has given me grest results.

ok cool, I will add more soil on the next watering. so its to early to start the training? I have read mixed reviews about training at certain stages. a lot of it said to train early. its hard to find straight answers, haha! and I got a question...how the hell do you top or fim a clone? I read that you have to cut the internode between 2 branches and if done correctly it should make multiple top's. I tried but I think I really missed. I tried 2 different spots. its really starting to get a little bushy now though. thanks for all your guidance homie!

The 1st pic is how I do my lst, and the 2nd is where you should top. There are several different methods as to where and when to top, it's all about your preffered method and your personal end goal. I top at the 7th and 8th nodes myself. I have some short indicas though so this helps me.

Hey man, how are things growing? Curious to see how your lsdies are coming along. Here are mine. 1 was topped right before the pic, the rest right after. Lol I was going to kill off the scrawny little one, but decided to just see how resiliant this strain really is.
