image.jpg image.jpg J IOK so I have a cure going for now two weeks and the only thing that has changed is the amount of moisture within the jar the volume of the jars increasing as the buds become more dense the color of the buds have darkened and then lightened up a little bit but the smell hasn't changed at all when I squeeze the buds they smell citrusy and Skunky but when you hold the buds up to your nose without squeezing they smell like cinnamon and my friend even said grilled chicken I had them dried out upside down cut the whole plant for four straight days and then trimmed all leaves then trim down to buds then let the bud dry another full day upside down and then put them in the jar and they been in the jar for a little over two weeks now and like I said the only thing that's changed is the denseness and a color a little bud here's some tricomb pics please help!!image.jpg image.jpg

What change are you expecting?
Smell... It doesn't really smell like good bud... Smokes ok a little harsh but does do the trick just barely get a wiff of skunk ... Am I doing something wrong? I know the smell is in the crnter of the buds but not on the outside... Here's a pic if the bud

I find that some phenos of some varieties have little smell at the end and others do. I also find high temperatures while growing will not let the taste be what I want. It may have dried to quickly. I like to hang at 60% rh. Then dry enough to smoke I jar it. Keep below 70% (in the bottom) or mold may happen. I've lost several half gal. Jars to mold. Some use 62% packs and I did for a while. I have found if the plant is done when I chop it the taste is quite good after a week of drying. Then the jar intensifies it. I've still had some plants that taste like crap. Hence I keep clones of my favs.

I agree with the above statement all depends what your growing some stink all to hell. When others are not very stinky but still potent as hell ......forget smell or even looks to a certain degree if smokes good and gets you high ......there's no shame in that at all ......if it's harsh you probably dropped in the jars a little early just leave it in your cure jars longer it can get better still Good luck

I just sampled some and it gets Me stoned and yeah I jarred to early you guys are right .. Well now I know my next grow should be 20x better now ... But the bud is still potent just has a earthy smell but when you brake it up all that citrusy skunk smell comes right out so it doesn't matter.... And there is no harshness now ... There was at first but now it's mellow and doesn't burnmy throat or anything and has a almost chocolate taste to it ... It's actually sweet lol
