2 spouts, 1 seed. Twins its lookin like...

Just sprouted my next round of seeds. Opium, Applejack, Green Crack, and Pineapple Express. But its looking like I might have an extra plant to grow out, because the Applejack seed has two taproots coming out of it. It also looks like there is 4 cotyledons inside the shell, but I'm not 100% yet.

I've seen twin trunks before, but 2 separate plants is pretty rare I think. I should know by the end of the night if it is or not.

Thanks, that's what I was thinking too, pretty pumped about it. I've always wanted to do a side by side grow (like organic vs synthetic) but have never been able to because I don't take clones. But if they are like twins, genetically exact, then I'm thinking I could finally do a comparison grow.

Right? Just like any other species, plants also have different mutations and whatnot its crazy. That seed has me feelin pretty lucky!

Bonsai's are doing great, I have a lot more since the last time we talked. I have some under lights right now to help get me through the winter, its a lot of fun.

Awesome thats great to hear. It seems like most people kill the weaker of the two, cause they usually share a tap root.

Was there a difference in the two plants, was the smaller one more potent?

Only had this happen once so I don't know if my results are typical, definatly grow um both out but yeah the smaller of the two was bomb! The best I've ever grown and I've done a few. The odd thing is it's twin was the absolute worst I;ve done. Have you ever seen that movie ''twins'' from the eighties with Arnold and Danny Davito? Man reminds of that. Like one took all the best powers of both to be phenominal and the other one complete shit. lol. You should grow em both out and then compare with my results. We could be on to something. GL

That's hilarious and also possibly true. I have full intentions of growing them both out, but I do have to say the smaller of the 2 is really quite small. The cotyledons are hardly visible, but they are there. MJ is usually pretty resilient so I'm thinking she will take off.

Damn bro I think the pic.s of mine are on my computer that crashed. Yeah mine were super small too. I'll check if uploaded um on here at RIU. By the way them bonsais are freaking beautiful! Wish I knew how to do that, they've always fascinated me. No they're not there. I had a pic of em on icmag but I think I deleted everything over there when gypsy got busted. Guess it don't matter though.lol. Good luck on these man, if you journal, I'll be following.

Thanks! Yea I love bonsai, it's what eventually led me to growing MJ. It's a beautiful art, but takes patience. It makes you a better grower in general as well.

But yea I think I am gonna journal this next grow for sure.. I've got Blueberry, Kali 47, The Purps, and Chocolate Heaven going right now. They have been flowering for a month and will be done in another month or so. I am going to post some pics of them here in a week or 2 once they're really frosty, but they're already looking great.

Does it come from Fukushima of Japan?

Happy to say, both of the girls are doing very well, the squirt has really caught up. They look basically identical which you'd expect.. One is barely larger, only because I put one in a hydro bucket and the other in soil. Wanted to compare the differences since they are twins, they should be a genetic match.
