Two things;

Is this TOO much light for my one plant? i have 2x 23w 6400k cfls standing side by side, plus another 23w 2600k cfl hanging above. The heat is not an issue as the fan does its job really well. I really want to bombard my little Piako Poison clone with rays, due to my small space and paper-thin budget

Also, I noticed the humidity dropped right back to 40% this arvo :cuss:, so I have used my my mini mh over a glass of water to fix that. It seems to drink the 800ml glass dry in 4 days, getting an average of 65-80% humidity. Is this ok? Its the best option I have right now.

Clone is under 12/12 using organic soil, Maxicrop Liquid Seaweed, and Gro More Gold (9-7.9-12).Watering every other day with Decent tap water with Maxicrop (30-1 water/nutes

Any solutions or suggestions for these two points will get my rep :mrgreen:

humidity for a clone you want around 70%-80% but if it drops to 40% it is nothing to worry about just watch it if it drops.... and a 23w CFL is equal to about 90w so you should be around 270w with the 3 lights...good luck

Its alil bit harder keeping temps and humidity stable in the freezing new zealand climate.its just hitting winter here.:-(

They do loook small but they have had a haircut today and i am lsting them.

Does the growth look normal? im in wk 3 ,and the plants have copped a hiding due to my kitten eating the tops off them:wall::cuss:. They are coming back alright, just transplated them 3 days ago. Will my growth slow for a bit as they get used to the nw pots?:dunce:

Nah its not straight dirt, got a potful mixed up by a lovely old lady in my block of flats. Its good organic topsoil with some sand and some pebbles for drainage. She grows everything from cabbages to cacti in the stuff, swears by it.

Re-rigged the lights, am i on the right track???

Qiuck question; can i put my two girls out in the sun during their photo period?? only if its nice and sunny i mean

the closer the cfl is to foliage the better your yeild will be. so just try and get them as close as possible without having heat issues.

I swear to god the clone has gotten sturdier and healthier looking with new growth starting since i re-rigged the lights a few hours ago

i put them even closer than that,i let the feeder leaves reach up and touch those 23watters,torches the tips a little but doesnt seem to hurt em just seems to make em grow bushier and darker, i vegged these 4 clones under a single 6500k 23w 'switch' one from mitre10,put them into natural light to trigger flowering a couple days ago,excuse the crappy picks,my camera only wants to take acceptable photos in daylight.
p.s. this is my first post think il have sum spots to celebrate:bigjoint:

Hey Blazedkiwi another kiwi on this site cool! Just get 8x 26 watt bulbs. I just posted pics my plant which is at 1 month old today. They seem to be enough for 1 plant, probably not enough for two plants though. And make sure you can position the bulbs all around the plant. I have 4 close together in the middle of my cabinet set just 3 inches above the apical bud, and the other 4 lights are in each corner of the cabinet set slightly lower to provide light to the lower branches. I have found this promotes a nice even grow with very little stretching. It allows me to control height & bushiness etc.
Hope this helps.
