2 plants, 1 pot experiment,

Every summer, I plant three tomato plants and two cilantro plants in 20 gal rubbermaid bins, and I've seen no issue with that at all. I can't see it being a problem for cannabis, given appropriate amount of space. As others mentioned though, one screw up could affect all plants negatively (conversely though, do a good job, and all plants will prosper equally).

Would 2 plants in a 20 gallon tote be equal to 1 plant per 10 gallon pot?
Im not sure i would of thought the 2 in a 20 gallon would be much bigger than 1 in a 10 gallon mine are all in the same size pots and its my double plants which are the biggest, 2 plants just end up looking like 1 big plant

Years ago I saw a video on youtube where this guy was selling seeds and wanted to show people how his LowRyder or whatever it was could grow. He took like 10 seeds, maybe more and just pushed them into the planter randomly. Didn't even germ them just randomly put them in the soil. Once they got going they looked like one large bush. Oh wow, lol. After all this time and I found the video, haha.

Its kinda cool cause I put a light on each side of the tote and one above it, the plants practically trained themselves and grew away from each other. Also one was getting taller than the other so I supercropped the main stem at the height of the other plant.

How far along are you? Wait til mid flower. You're definitely going to lose yield when you get to harvest, that is if you make it. How many gals are your containers? Think what you want, but there are no pros. Like you said, it's your first grow. But thanks for letting me know how great of an idea it is. If there were pros more people would do it. But the only people who do it are the ones who aren't smart enough to read before they pop their beans.
Reading bk over this comment, turns out the 2 in 1 experiment worked well for me, both pots produced 14 oz between them and i ended up with just short of 60 oz alltogether, had i of not potted them i would of ended up with the standard 4 oz i got off each of my other plants, check it out if you want its all documented with pictures.. now i think its you who looks silly saying theres no pros to it when there obviously is

My first grow I used miracle grow. We all do dumb shit. Trial, error, research, redo. You probably will never grow multiple plants in a pot after this. If you're seriously limited for space there is othere ways. Like a 2x2 with 6-12 plants flowered at 6 inches.

Yeah but my first grow was exceptionally successful, and well documented on my profile, Yes it was my first grow but that doesn't mean i didn't have first hand knowledge, i had a choice i either threw 2 plants away or i let them share a pot with 2 others, they didn't hermie, they didn't die off, they both flurished, and became my biggest yielders, so saying we all do dumb shit, i think you're only speaking for yourself.. i made a choice and it proved successful.

I hope you're lying and didn't just say your 2 for 1 plants were your biggest yields ever. If so, all I have to say is lolololol to your regular grow choices. Bye now.

Dont make yourself look silly, it was my first grow i got 52oz off 9 plants under 3 600w lights thats with my 2 in 1 pots included, the with 2 in1s averaging 6 and half oz a plant and the others around 5 and a half oz, its all documented with pictures on my profile, I did pretty damn good for my first grow and only a complete hater would say any different.

You haven't got shit on you're profile apart from you trolling other growers posts acting like a know it all, and been rude to people, You've probably never even done a grow, you probably still buy 10 draws lol, and using miracle grow isnt very bright...
