Wait which ones are glass? The clw? That was a bit confusing. 90 degree penetrates more than 120 right? And 60 even more right? Im not doin sog flood table anymore. Gon back to big plants. So I would want more intensity. Im just covering all my bases. I do not want to regret my purchase. I hate it when that happens .....
Yes, the smaller the lens angle the deeper it penetrates. HOWEVER, keep in mind if you have a dense canopy, deeper penetration will have little effect. Side lighting is the solution
Here's some 411 on 630 & 660 from one who seems to know "Couple that with strong white light (green-response chlorophyll extending throughout and deep into leaf structures, with a net effect at or near that of the (mostly) surface-level blue and reds), which also takes care of most of the ~660nm+ you actually need for photomorphogenesis - and you can get by with 630nm reds just fine.
(i.e. 630nm red is ~95% of the PSR of 660nm, AND they currently still have ~20-30% greater radiometric efficiency - as well as being cheaper than the deep reds - so there's more 'bang for the buck')"
