2 of my plants not budding in Ontario outdoor

Hello! Im an experienced 7 yr grower in Eastern Ontario. 2 of my plants are huge but still have yet to bud. Stain is gorilla. Came as clone. Has anyone experienced this late late possible bud? Not sure if I should keep waiting? I've switched to budding chemical as of 4 days ago. Suggestions?

I wouldnt give up on them but in your location its really pushing the chances of finishing down. Are your plants in the ground? Not sure what to suggest other than avoiding that strain but thats probably stating the obvious. Id say light dep but a friend just lost his crop to bud rot because of humidity spike and poor control

Thank you! One in ground and one in cloth pot. I'll give them a little more time but I agree. Powdery mildew is an issue just about every year here so I'm super vigilant in checking and preventing. 4 years ago I lost a pheno that gave 2ltr size buds on the shortest plant to mildew and I took it as a teachable moment lol I've had luck more with a homemade anti mildew concoction and keeping my vining veggies far away from my plants.

What is "budding chemical"?

My assumption was flower nutes

I am in Maine, one of my GG is just now starting to bud. It's twin started two weeks ago. For whatever the reason all my plants seemed to start later this year.Hang in there.

Thank you! And Will do! I also had one branch on a massive plant bud 2 weeks earlier than the rest of the plant!? which is something else I've never come across. Nature does some strange things.

Ontario as well and this is 1 of my 4. She is definitely stretching but 0 buds yet. Here's to hoping..

Late/long finish plant. Start thinking about ways to keep her dry in Oct. Wettable sulphur is pms worst enemy. Don't spray buds.

I have 3 Cherry Wine plants that aren't flowering yet either (and a bunch more that are well along--go figure). On the other hand my Chinook Haze, a sativa dominant from Greenpoint that didn't show anything until September last year, has some nice looking budlets now.

Not sure sure what's going on exactly. Genetic variation seems to have something to do with it, since all the Cherry Wines were started at the same time and cared for in the same way. Does make me nervous having plants just getting started at this point, but then again I was able to harvest that late Chinook last year a few days before Halloween. But gets awfully dicey--was lucky there because that particular strain seems to be highly resistant to bud rot.

Don't sweat it and don't force it. You aren't feeding it N at this point, are you? That can delay flowering (a little N OK early in flower, but too much not good). Also, I'm trying a trick I read from Coot where you topdress with ground up malted barley, he swears it speeds up bud ripening by as much as a couple weeks! Be great if true, time will tell. Might be worth a shot for you. For PM I'd recommend foliar spray of potassium bicarbonate.
