2 LED lights with conflicting "bloom" and "veg" settings

Hi. I bought the smaller light on the left a few months ago and have been using its "bloom" and "veg" switches during the appropriate periods. Just a few days ago I picked up the larger light on the right (1k w) and to my surprise, the "bloom" setting on light 1 is different than the "bloom" setting on the new light.

I've attached a couple pictures of the 2 settings. One thing to note about the photos, both lights are on opposite settings. As you can see, when they are switched like this they are both putting out the same light spectrum.

My question is: is veg the warmer or cooler light temperature?

Veg will be the cooler light, bloom will be the warmer. But since you're using blurples I'd recommend running both veg and bloom during your flowering phase if they'll allow it.

Next time you're light shopping stay away from blurples and look at quantum boards.
Thank you for the information.

If your lights have switches for veg/bloom they both go ON all the time. Start to finish. Again...all switches on, all the time.

Are the switches just a gimmick then?
Not necessarily a "gimmick", veg will most likely run the cooler led's and bloom should run the warmer. But for blurples to be strong enough for flower you need to run both. Running only the veg may be enough for your veg cycle, depending on the (true) wattage of the light, strain, and your growing space. I'd start with veg setting only during veg to test (possibly saving electricity) and see how the plants respond. If they start stretching a lot even with the light 12" away then turn on the flower mode too during veg.
